I. Rationale
The Community Extension Program of the College Supreme Student Government is one
way to extend our depths of gratitude towards the constituents in one of the adopted barangays of
Davao Central College. This is done once or twice within a school year.
We have gathered the sanctions at the end of second semester for school year 2018-2019
from the students who have not participated from the activities made by the council. It was also
agreed that students who will fail to attend the events conducted by the CSSG: for first year and
transferees, namely Sessional Election, freshmen and transferees day and teachers’ day; for higher
years, namely Sessional Election and Teachers’ day are obliged to donate school supplies for
community extension purposes. To have proper dissemination of the school supplies, the CSSG
officers had decided to relinquish the materials collected from the students through Community
Extension Program this coming June 19, 2019.
We believe that the little things we do towards our fellowmen stays in their hearts and
minds – which later on will grow and bear its fruits. This activity emphasizes not only the value
of sharing but also to put smiles on the faces of the people through the simple efforts of DCC-
CSSG officers.
II. Objectives
1. To initiate a program that would benefit the people in the adopted barangay;
2. To provide little assistance to the less fortunate children.
3. To foster kinship and camaraderie towards others.
4. To give happiness and share our blessings to the people even in an ordinary day, and;
5. To practice one of the DCC core values – compassion.
