Good day!
One of the specialized subjects of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) students in
grade 12 is CAPSTONE. This course is designed to prepare STEM students for lifelong learning and effective
and productive citizenship through the opportunity to plan, complete and present a self-directed culminating
project reflecting their personal interest. When implemented well, this course will serve a big help to our senior
high school students. It will help our learners boost self-confidence by giving them a chance to excel in an area
of in-depth learning, at the same time with the help of this course, it helps the learner prepare for college-level
work, which often requires more rigorous standards and deeper knowledge that typical high school coursework.
Capstone subject keep students engaged in the last year of their high school by allowing them to pursue
something they’re passionate about, give students an opportunity to build and display crucial skills, including
critical thinking, research, public speaking, media literacy, strategic thinking, self-sufficiency, and goal-setting
and last it help students explore their interests and find a sense of purpose in terms of how they want to
contribute to the community.
In connection to this, we are asking your permission to allow the two Grade 12 classes (12 STEM - STEPHEN
HAWKING and 12 STEM - JANE MORRIS GOODALL) to conduct the PROJECT ROSE

The said Community-Action Engagement Program will be on January 21, 2023 at the National Shrine of Our Lady of
Guadalupe to give aid such as hygiene kit, food, grocery packs, toys and the like to the most in need children in the
National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe since they were affected by the pandemic. Attached herewith is the project
proposal that consists of the details of the said activity.
We believe that this kind of activity will serve as one of the best training grounds for our future nation’s citizens
by making them productive and effective as they enter the wide arena of citizenship.
