NARRATIVE REPORT IN ENGLISH MONTH CELEBRATION

S.Y 2021-2022

Every year, when the month of November comes, Reading Month is celebrated. And yearly, Triala
National High School joins the said celebration. In accordance to Division Memorandum no. 359 s. 2021 or
the “2021 National Reading Month Celebration in English and Filipino with a theme “Every Child Reads
despite the Pandemic Challenge”.
That memorandum contained some suggested activities for the said celebration. They are as follows;
Storytelling, Quiet time, Reading Challenge, Reading Family, Reading Day challenge and Virtual
Demonstration Teaching.
Under the great leadership of Ma'am Ma. Cecilia P. Pacol, School Principal III of Triala National
High School, even the support of Sir Joselito S. Corpuz, English Area Chair, and Ma'am Marvie A.
Acapuyan, Filipino Area Chair, the suggested activities were carried out successfully.

There was also a District Readathon Contest where the school participated and had winners. They
are the following with their respective categories, place and coach;

We had won also the 2nd place in the Best Reading Program and Activities. The Reading Program
mentioned is the existence of the Community Library Hub in barangays of Triala and Culong to help
students who want to read without having to go to school due to the limited face to face classes caused by
the pandemic. Our very supportive Principal also built Reading Corners in each Learning Area Park in the
preparation for the face to face classes. She also assisted the Language Department in organizing the School
Library to make it more neat, comfortable and easy for students to use at the opening of classes.

Overall, the School’s Celebration of National reading Month was a great success!
