The pupils chose the story that they want to read and silently read the passage.

The teacher let the pupils read in chorus, by group and individually.
During the implementation of DEAR, the teacher assisted the struggling readers while the
proficient readers who read independently assited their other classmates in reading.
The teacher threw the dice and the pupil who catched it read the words written in the
dice correctly.
The pupils arranged the jumbled words to complete the poem that they read prior the
given activity.
The pupils were asked to arrange themselves alphabetically based on the first letter of
words that they have.

The pupils acted out the story of “The Butterfly and the Caterpillar”
Roll, Read and Receive. Roll the tumbler, read all the words that the tumbler passed by
and receive the reward when the pupil read all the words correctly .
The independent readers helped the struggling readers who were not able to read the
words in the previous activity.
