1. NEW NORMAL FACE TO FACE READING EVALUATION- Face to Face Reading

Evaluation following the IATF minimum health protocols to the learners who do not
have internet access

2. CLASS GROUP CHATS-Teachers created Group Chats to communicate with the

learners as well as the family. Parents—and guardians—must be involved in the
learning process of their children.

3. READING INTERVENTION PLANNING-Evaluation of the Pre-Reading

Assessment Results and planning for the intervention programs to address the
pupils who needed help in improving their reading skills.

4. ECARP in NEW NORMAL- Every Child A Reader Program targeted the struggling
pupils thru Intensive Remedial Reading Program without compromising the safety
of the learners and the teachers by distributing reading materials like Basic Sight
Word Basic Sight Words and Sentences and Stories with comprehension
questions, Read-a-Thon Materials, Unang Hakbang sa Pagbasa booklets, Short
stories and other printed materials to the struggling pupils. Providing supplemental
reading materials for the other pupils who were assessed as average and good
readers to enhance their reading and comprehension skills. For the Kinder and
Grade 1 pupils, providing alphabet flashcards and watching phonemic videos can
be beneficial to help the parents.

5. DROP EVERYTHING and READ HOME SESSION -Encouraging the parents to take time in
guiding their children thru the DEARHS to help them develop good study habits
and to improve their reading ability.

6. ACCESSING DepEd COMMONS- Encouraging the parents to access the Deped

Commons for supplemental learning and reading materials for their children.

7. Parent & Teacher Tandem -Teachers collaborating with the parent/guardians in

monitoring of the learners’ progress through a progress chart.

8. APAW/ASAW/IPASA-Developing and enhancing their reading skills through

APAW( A Paragraph A Week), ASAW ( A Selection A Week) and IPASA (Isang
Pangungusap Sa Isang Araw) Program.
