Accomplishment Report

Distance Reading Intervention

Anchored to DepEd program Brigada Pagbasa, this classroom-based reading project was
conducted to cater learners having trouble in reading. It is collaborated with the community
stakeholder (neighbors) that maintains a learning environment responsive to community contexts
focusing on reading.

The project used different strategies to improve the reading ability of the pupils in Grade 3 &
4. Partnership and collaboration with parent to close monitor the improvement of reading ability
of pupils was strengthened.

The project stressed that no child is left behind in the quality of basic education.

Significantly improved the reading ability of 6 Grade 3 pupils in SY 2021-2022; and 7 Grade
4 pupils improved their reading ability in SY 2021-2022.

A total of 13 pupils, 6 Grade 3 and 7 Grade 4 pupils benefited from the project.

The impact of the project could be seen in the improvement of reading ability.

Parents of the 13 pupil participants actively monitored and helped implement the project at
home.
