ACTIVITY DESIGN
I. TITLE

END OF SCHOOL YEAR RITES SY 2021-2022

II. RATIONALE

Graduation, moving up and awarding ceremonies are part of the mandates of


the Department of Education to recognize the concerted endeavor and
collaborative efforts of the stakeholders and learners in achieving the shared
vision of quality, accessible, relevant, and liberating basic education for all. This
is very significant on the part of the pupils in the sense that they will be awarded
on their struggles while they embrace their journey and even in their skills and
talents.

As stipulated in DepEd Memorandum No. 18, s. 2021 and Division


Memorandum No. 166, s. 2022, end of the school year rites are allowed but with
strict compliance to IATF health protocols, in consultation with the parents and
community members, it was agreed that the school will push through with the
limited face to face ceremony.

III. OBJECTIVES

The activity aims to:


a. Recognize the kindergarten to grade 6 academic achievers, completers and
graduates.
b. Award certificates to Kindergarten and grade 6 learners who successfully
completed the requirements of the kindergarten and elementary curriculum
respectively.

IV. EXPECTED PARTICIPANTS

The expected participants are the following:

Grade 6 Learners 10
Kindergarten learners 10
Academic Achievers 9
Parents 29
Teachers 3

VI. PROCEDURE

It will be done in limited face-to-face on July 4, 2022 maximum of two hours


shall be observed. All safety health protocols will be observed during the conduct
of the activity.

II. RATIONALE

learners, parents and other stakeholders. It signifies and celebrates the unity of
all stakeholders for the learners’ better future.

Relative to the DepEd Memo No. 043, s. 2022 on the conduct of the K
to 12 Basic Education Program End-of-School-Year rites for School Year
2021-2022 in light of the COVID 19 public health emergency, Graduation
and Moving Up could be done in limited face to face for those under alert
level 1 and 2 and consultation with the local government unit as well as
parents/guardians but it must be in compliance with the IATF protocols to
give learners a sense of normalcy without risking their health and safety.
Parents were consulted during HPTA for kindergarten and grade 6 and
they agreed to pursue with the limited face to face closing exercises.

a. Recognize the kindergarten to grade 6 academic achievers, completers
and graduates.
b. Award certificates to Kindergarten and grade 6 learners who successfully
completed the requirements of the kindergarten and elementary
curriculum respectively.
c. To award medals to grade 1 to grade 6 academic achievers.

VI. PROCEDURE

Kindergarten Moving Up and recognition Program will be done in


limited face to face on July 6, 2022 and Graduation will be on July 7,
2022. Maximum of two hours per program shall be observed. Use of face
mask and social distancing will be implemented.

Certificates and program papers will be prepared and printed in the
school. Ribbons will be prepared by the teachers. Medals lace will also be
done by the advisers. Lay out and tarpaulin printing of the stage
decoration will be brought to printing press.
