Brigada Eskwela 2021

The Department of Education Brigada Eskwela started from August 3 to
September 30, 2021. The theme for this year is “Bayanihan sa Paaralan”, it
emphasized the country’s collective efforts in promoting collaboration for safe
living and addressing social issues and concerns in schools, at homes, and in
the community. The new concept of Brigada Eskwela should be focused on the
spirit of a cooperative effort involving community members and the school.
Despite the challenges posed by Covid-19, Brigada Eskwela prioritized
the safety of the learners and ensured to continue to attain quality education
during the pandemic. However, we cannot achieve it without the help of our
stakeholders, benefactors, supporters, and contributors to acquire our project
for this school year 2021 Brigada Eskwela.
Through the leadership of Ma’am Melissa E. Rubin, School Principal-I of
Canaan East Elementary School, and the effort of Canaan East Teaching Force,
we solicited 32 liters of latex paint and another 32 liters of enamel paint. The
following day the blessings continued to shower our school when 5 reams of
bond papers were delivered to CEES. Our school received donations with the
total amount of Php 9000.00 from our kind-hearted benefactors.
Activities during done during Brigada Eskwela:
1. Day 1- School Disinfection
2. Day 2- Repainting of Metal Roof
3. Day 3- Repainting of Wall
4. Day 4- Repair of Ceiling
5. Day 5- Cleaning of the School Garden
 6. Day 6- Cleaning of the School Premises
Moreover, we strongly agreed with the saying “ If you don’t go after
what you want, you’ll never have it. If you don’t ask, the answer is always no, If
you don’t step forward, you’re always in the same place, “ –Nora Roberts.
