The word of God.

No book has been so loved, so hated, so revered, so damned as the Bible. People have died for the
Bible. Others have killed for it. It has inspired man's greatest, noblest acts, and been blamed for his most
damnable and degenerate. Wars have raged over the Bible, revolutions have been nurtured in its pages,
and kingdoms crumbled through its ideas. People of all viewpoints—from liberation theologians to
capitalists, from fascists to Marxists, from dictators to liberators, from pacifists to militarists—search its
pages for words with which to justify their deeds.

The Bible's uniqueness does not come from its unparalleled political, cultural, and social influence, but
from its source and its subject matter. It is God's revelation of the unique God-man: the Son of God,
Jesus Christ—the Saviour of the world.

As a young Christian in this modern world, I rarely have time to get to read even short chapters from the
Bible. God graciously call me to read His words. He sustained the Bible to live up to this time just to
reach out on me, on us. I am touched how He assured that His love letter will reached His daughter.

No book has been so adored, so despised, so loved, so cursed as the Bible. Individuals have passed on
for the Bible. Others have slaughtered for it. It has roused man's most prominent, noblest acts, and been
accused for his generally terrible and degenerate. Wars have seethed over the Bible, upsets have been
sustained in its pages, and realms disintegrated through its thoughts. Individuals, everything being equal
—from freedom scholars to industrialists, from extremists to Marxists, from despots to emancipators,
from peaceful resistor to warmongers—scan its pages for words with which to legitimize their deeds.

The Bible's uniqueness doesn't originate from its unmatched political, social, and social impact, however
from its source and its topic. It is God's disclosure of the exceptional God-man: the Son of God, Jesus
Christ—the Savior of the world.

As a youthful Christian in this advanced world, I once in a while have the opportunity to will peruse even
short parts from the Bible. God generous call me to peruse His words. He continued the Bible to satisfy
this time just to connect on me, on us. I am contacted how He guaranteed that His adoration letter will
arrived at His girl.

The nature of humanity

And "God said, 'Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.'" God did not speak into
existence His crowning creation. Instead, He lovingly stooped to shape this new creature from the dust
of the earth He give us a soul, spirit, the breathen. Our kfe belongs to Him and only. It sadden me how
intellectual beings created by God will soon neglect His authority and credentials of being the creator of
life. Most of us are fanatics of human evolution, that we degrade ourselves by setting we evolve from
lowly creations. Not to be mean. But we are created by God and his image. We are composed of several
parts but together they unite. There is none in this world and even time can explain how great artistry is
that. By reading this portion of SDA belief, I was moved how God gave us the breath of life and made out
of dusts but not by words. We are created with a living soul. This is enough for me to value my life even
more.

The Life Death Ressurection of Christ

The Scriptures reveal a God who has an overwhelming concern for the salvation of humanity. The
members of the Godhead are allied in the work of bringing people back into a union with their Creator.
Jesus highlighted God's saving love, saying, "'For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life'" (John 3:16). This is the
most unconditional love that can never be portrayed by man.

The Scriptures declare that "God is love" (1 John 4:8). He reaches out to humanity "'with an everlasting
love'" (Jer. 31:3). The God who extends the invitation to salvation is all-powerful, but His love
necessitates His permitting each person to have freedom of choice in responding by the death of His Son
(Rev. 3:20, 21.) A love with sacrifice and freedom, that is how we characterize this. This made me
realized how bad person I have become. This is due that up to now, I cannot return this love. Love is
blind, indeed. God loves me through the duration of my sinful life. Yet, He extends His hands. I hope that
somehow, as soon as possible, I could return the love that was freely and unconditional given to me, and
be restrained by my limited understanding of this cruel world. If I would fall to this sin, all of His
sacrifices will be in vain. So, I must work myself to get closer to Him.

Growing in Christ

Perhaps the most basic and unique principle about Christian life is that it begins with death-indeed, with
two events of death. First, the death of Christ on the cross makes possible our new life-free from the
dominion of Satan (Col. 1:13, 14), free from the condemnation of sin (Rom. 8:1), free from death the
penalty of sin (Rom. 6:23)-and it brings reconciliation with God and humans. Second, the death of self
makes it possible for us to take up the life that Christ offers. As a result, third, we walk in newness of
life.Through His death on the cross, Christ triumphed over Satan. What makes this triumph even more
joyful and tearful at the same time. The prize of His triumph, the thing He wants the most, that is to win
us. For me, this is like a movie. A great way to portray a selfless love. This led me to realize that I should
not waste this chance. The chance that is given to me, to live a new life. To leave the sinner I was before,
because He gave me a new life. Growing in Christ is thus a growing in anticipation, in hope, of the final
consummation of the redemptive experience in the Kingdom to come.

Maybe the most fundamental and extraordinary rule about Christian life is that it starts with death-
surely, with two functions of death. To start with, the demise of Christ on the cross makes conceivable
our new sans life from the territory of Satan (Col. 1:13, 14), liberated from the judgment of
transgression (Rom. 8:1), liberated from death the punishment of transgression (Rom. 6:23)- and it
carries compromise with God and people. Second, the demise of self makes it feasible for us to take up
the existence that Christ offers. Thus, third, we stroll in freshness of life.Through His passing on the
cross, Christ won over Satan. What makes this victory significantly more euphoric and mournful
simultaneously. The prize of His victory, the thing He needs the most, that is to win us. For me, this
resembles a film. An incredible method to depict a sacrificial love. This drove me to understand that I
ought not squander this opportunity. The possibility that is given to me, to carry on with another life. To
leave the heathen I was previously, in light of the fact that He gave me another life. Filling in Christ is
hence a filling in expectation, in trust, of the last fulfillment of the redemptive involvement with the
Kingdom to come.

Gifts and ministries

Christ illustrated the gifts of the Holy Spirit with a parable: "'The kingdom of heaven is like a man
traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. And to one he
gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and
immediately he went on a journey'" (Matt. 25:14, 15).

Most of the time, I question myself what can I do for Christ? Am I qualified? Can I do that or this? And
this question often lead to conclusion that " No, I am not good in this.I should I just step aside andet
them because they're good at." I have learned that this is not the behavior of a true Christian. A true
Christian must take part on working to spread the word of Christ. That was His favor to His disciples. And
I am a Christian, His disciple. Nothing is more exciting and fulfilling than to know that we are occupying
the position or ministry or service that Providence has ordained for me and you. What a blessing is ours
to employ in His service the special gift Christ has given to us through the Holy Spirit. Christ longs to
share His gifts of grace. Today I can accept His invitation and discover what His gifts can do in a Spirit-
filled life!

Nothing is more energizing and satisfying than to realize that we are involving the position or service or
administration that Providence has appointed for me and you. What a gift is our own to utilize in His
administration the extraordinary blessing Christ has given to us through the Holy Spirit. Christ yearns to
share His endowments of beauty. Today I can acknowledge His greeting and find what His blessings can
do in a Spirit-filled life!

Stewardship

"Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit . . . and you are not your own? For you
were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's" (1 Cor.
6:19, 20). At high cost we were purchased, redeemed. We belong to God. But such was mere reclaiming,
for He made us; we have belonged to Him from the beginning because "In the beginning God
created. . ."

. More than anything else living a Christian life means surrender—a giving up of ourselves and an
accepting of Christ. This is how I can repay Jesus, as be surrendered and gave Himself up for us. At
Creation God shared His possessions with humanity, and He continues to be the true owner of the
world, its inhabitants, and its goods.

Now, I understand the purpose of my life. To be Christ's steward. Proper stewardship is selflessness; it is
complete self-giving to God and service to humanity. Thus, this is how I must be. And whatever we do,
do it all in the name of God.

The Second Coming

The certainty of the Second Advent is rooted in the trustworthiness of the Scripture. Just before His
death Jesus told His disciples that He would be returning to His Father to prepare a place for them. But
He promised, "'I will come again'" (John 14:3). The first and second coming of God are all prophesized.
We should not ignore of this. All who accept God's message of mercy will rejoice at the prospect of the
Second Advent. Theirs is the assurance, "'"Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of
the Lamb!"'" (Rev. 19:9).

I am excited but also afraid of His coming. I know to myself that I am not qualified to be with Him. Yet, I
do want to rest with Him. This part, help me realized that the end is very near. I am not prepared. With
this little time I have, I am determined enough that now I should focus on making myself qualified to be
with Him. Like Him, I must show my love so when He comes back, I can be taken.
