EPISODE 2

My Map :

Learner 1 is a passive listener, learner 2 is actively participating at the class discussion while learner 3 is
taking notes while listening to the teacher.

Base on my gathered data the 3 students or learners are able to learn with what the discussion is
tackling about, but they have all different style of listening. According to learner 3 it is easier to
understand when you write down notes as you can have references when you want to restudy the
lessons given.

OBSERVATION

Physical

1 They are more modest when they walk and move. In order to keep balance everyone coheres with the
schools rules and policies about moving and walking at the schools premises.

2 They are smooth enough according to what I observe

3 The students are more engage in drawing well it is usual to a child.

SOCIAL

1 The students are more polite and generous I think the factors that affect their behavior came from
their teachers.

2 The students usually talks about how would they spend the time they could do after classes. Some of
the students talks about lessons.

EMOTIONAL

1 When inside the classroom they are being happy about the topics of their class, but it will
automatically change when they are about to leave the class. Moreover they are enjoying the class.

2 They express their wants and need by respectfully approaching their teachers.

3 If they are upset I observe that one student throws tantrums but the teacher was there to make the
students calm.

4 Students are more confident thanks to the teacher she handles the classes well.

COGNITIVE
1 Almost of the students are well proficient in their spoken language. When communicating they are
using some jargons words.

2 Every student in the class has different types of understanding half of the class are easy to learn and
perceive thoughts while half needs more guidance from the teacher.

3 Typically students are raising their hands when they want to resolve what problem they were given.
And vividly spell out solutions to a certain issues.

MY ANALYSIS

The most salient characteristics of learners are a sense of self worth. An accepting attitude unto elderly
Most importantly on how the learners are using their time and mind wisely. Also their way or perception
to other peoples belief and views. In that way the implications from the teachers are clearly stated that
the effectiveness of a teacher is right there. Students develop well when their teachers are prepared
enough to handle the students when developing their salient characteristics.

MY REFLECTIONS AND INSIGHTS

1 At the first glance I remembered when I was at their age of the excitement flowing in me when
learning new knowledge, the only difference is they do have this equipments to help them learn while
at my old times books are the only source we can have.

2 At high school there was this life event that my family was broken apart and I lose the interests in
studying but there is only one teacher I remember the most, he made me realized that I should not let
that thing let me stop from chasing my dreams. To make the story short I ended getting more inspired to
study well and not to mess things up.

3 As a student or learner we should focus on our academics but don’t ever forget to unwind. You have
to make things in balance and order. Chaos are always there the only thing you can do is head up high
and strive for more.

MY REFLECTIONS AND INSIGHT II

My favorite theory of development emotional development by Erik Erikson (allowing us to emphasize

the social nature of human beings and the important influence that social relationships have on
development) as a future educator we should always consider the importance of keeping our
connections or get in touch with others when learning, it is the most foundation of all build more
relationship as it will help us to understand a vast space of learning.
