You can work individually or in pairs.
You have been asked to write an essay about Beowulf. Follow these instructions and present your
essay plan in this forum.
1. Below are some suggested topics for your essay. Choose one topic.

2. Search academically reliable sources to get information for your essay plan. You can also
use as a guide the suggested bibliography listed in this handout under the heading Reading
Assignment 5.
3. Read as much as possible and formulate question(s) you would like to approach in your
essay. Write your question(s).
4. List the bibliography you have selected to address the topic you are going to discuss in your
essay. Do not forget to follow either the MLA or the APA style of references.
5. Present your essay plan in this forum. It must include:

➢ essay topic
➢ essay questions
➢ introductory paragraph
➢ topic sentences for each body paragraph.
➢ Bibliography (at least three sources)
