Aim of this latest visit is to verify that implemented system modifications are aligned
with the best practices recommended by Ecolab.

Visit Summary

Lakhani Enterprises has implemented modifications aligned with below Ecolab recommendations to improve
their water sanitation process. However, effectiveness of renewed system should be measured through
microbial testing of water samples taken for initial 3 to 4 runs.

Observations and Recommendations:

• Cleaning process should be automated and supported by mechanical force through pumping water with
the help of 1HP (0.75 kWh) Electrical Pump with internal assembly made of stainless steel. This pump
should be installed at tank pipeline on the outlet of tank directed toward taps.

• Letting the cleaning solution stay in pipelines should be replaced by continuous circulation as per given
contact time. This should be done after adding a return pipeline from taps to storage tank. In this way,
cleaning solution will circulate through mechanical force – tank to tap and then tap to tank via return
pipeline.

 Conclusion

- Effectiveness of renewed system should be measured through microbial testing of water samples
taken for initial 3 to 4 runs.
- To avoid microbial contamination from source of water, Ecolab recommends to use P3-Tsunami 100
for the removal of microbial load in the water present inside tanks and pipelines.
- Ecolab’s recommended cleaning regime should be adopted for cleaning & disinfection of water supply
system.
