Philosophy of Education
Teachers have a major role in the lives of our students and their futures. Education is a
practical and applicable tool that will serve as a key to my students’ success. All students deserve
the right to be educated in a way that will most benefit themselves. Each student has the capacity
to engage in their learning while expressing themselves freely in the classroom. Given the
opportunity to educate, I will facilitate and guide my students in the right direction through
As an educator, my role is to make a difference in students’ lives while teaching them the
information they need to succeed. The true purpose of education is to prepare students for their
lives ahead of them by teaching them valuable lessons and information that will spark new
thoughts, creativity, and ideas. Students will best succeed and benefit from learning the valuable
basic information from subjects such as Mathematics, History, Science, and English. Students
will best succeed and benefit from learning basic life skills like time management, problem
solving, life lessons, etc. As a teacher, I will always be willing to go above and beyond for my
students. I will be supportive and encouraging in my students strive for success. Being practical
while easy-going is also important, allowing for my students to truly connect with me while
different viewpoints and styles each student contains and benefits from. I will cater to each and
every single one of my students by implementing different teaching styles within the different

lessons I teach. This will allow for students to gain exposure to the many ways of obtaining and
learning new information. I plan for my classroom to be an open environment where students are
able to feel comfortable and accommodated to. The classroom should feel like a safe place for
my students, where they can share their feelings while being hardworking and studious. Students
will be accepted for who they are, no matter their beliefs or opinions. As for each student, all
deserve an equal and equitable education no matter what race, ethnicity, religion, or sexuality.
Overall, I believe that as a teacher, I must give every student the opportunity to learn to
their fullest potential, in ways that benefit them the most. I will guide my students into their
bright futures through many learning experiences. They will be on their road to success after
