Introduce

“VICOM Manager” is an integration PC HMI program.

This program makes it easy to view and control data of connected devices on
your PC. It consists of main program, Fault wave viewer, Comtrade Converter.

Environment
VHMI2012 can be used in Microsoft Windows (Win7 or later version)
environment. To run this program, “.Net framework 4.5” must be installed in
advance.

Notice
To execute the program normally, the device and the user PC must be
connected with a communication cable.

1. Create a Project

1. Login Page

The initial screen of the program is the login screen.

The default Id is “admin” and Password is “0”.

2. Start Page

This is Start Page.

Click the ‘Create New Project’ button to create a new project.

or,

You can also open an already saved project

by selecting 'Open project' or 'Recent projects'.

※ If necessary, you can click on the utility tools located below.

3. Project Page

If you create a new project, or open an already created project,

go to the page above.
Click the Add Device button at the top right
to add a new device.

If it is a new project,
“Save the project” message will be displayed.
Press the OK button to save the project as shown above.

This is a screen where a new device is added by pressing the Add button.
Enter the appropriate information in the right Device Property.

※ If necessary information is not entered correctly,

The device is indicated by a red line.

After entering all the information,

click the Device button at the top. (Next)

4. Device Page

the device Page display the devices created in the project screen.
Click the Connect button of the device you want to connect,
Connect to the device by pressing the Connect button.

If the Connection is successful,

View is updated log information
and You can see the matched device point values in this page.

2. Measurement/System/Relay

1. Measurement

“Measurement” consists mainly of read-only data.

Click the tab you want to view.

If there is too much data to be displayed,

you can collapse the information by clicking on the subject line.
The folded title is shown in gray.

2. System/Relay

‘”System” can control commands to device.

The table consists of ‘name/current value/set value',
To Set the values, press the 'Apply IED' button.

Also, when you click the Cancel' button,

You can revert to a previously set state.

“Relay” can be set in the same way.

3. Event/File Transfer

1. Event

When you click “Event”, you can see the related list.

To reset the events on the current device,

You use the Event Clear button.

In the case of a fault log,

You can see added buttons to bring fault data to PC and open it.

2. File Transfer

In the case of file download,

you can transfer the file on the PC to the device.

First, find the file to be transferred,

Second, check the box before the file name,
and click the Download button.

During file transfer, the following will be displayed,

In the case of file upload,

you can transfer the file on the device to the PC,
The Usage is same as Download.
