Finding the perfect lipstick is already difficult as it is, but if you’re a morena who’s gotten used to the notion that only a few colors suit you, shopping for that ride-or-die lippie becomes a laborious scavenger hunt. It also
doesn't help that most advertisements we have seen growing up featured fair-skinned models. It personally took me many wrong purchases throughout many years before I finally learned what looked good on me.

Luckily, we now live in the age of social media, where morena vloggers and influencers are taking it upon themselves to provide the information and inspiration that we brown girls need. And so, I scoured Instagram for
some morena-friendly recommendations to show you!

Here’s a little something for morenas who’d like to add flair to their no-fuss everyday look, without the complexity of heavy lipsticks. While I visited Aya Abesamis’ profile with the intention of finding a good lippie
recommendation, I was pleasantly surprised when she informed me that her simple look was indeed… simple. “It’s just minimal tint and a go-to for lip moisture and care,” the beauty queen explains. “And smells nice too.”
