About Acquiring and Cards


The Acquiring and Cards department focuses on the cards and merchant acquiring business of the Bank. The Bank offers a
wide range of cards designed for the customers’ specific needs along with offering PoS services under the acquiring business
vertical within the cards team. The department is also responsible for driving growth in the UPI payments space

About the Role


Product Manager is responsible for driving product and process innovation related to Acquiring and Cards business. Product
Manager is also responsible for building payment option portfolio, monitoring and coordinating with business and technology
vendors. The role requires the applicant to take care of all the product/project related items end to end. The role will entail
Product/Project management/launch. The applicant need to be able to envision the road map for user friendly digital or sales
journey along with effective product proposition.

Key Responsibilities
 Build the Payment Option portfolio which includes signing banks for Net Banking / Direct Debit services, acquiring
services (processing of Debit and Credit Cards), EMI, wallet, to enable merchants with maximum payment options
for their customers, loyalty rewards solutions.
 Coordinate independently both internally and externally for resolving issues cropping up during testing (UAT and
production).
 Handle end to end Card Management system (Credit card, Prepaid card, Debit card and Merchant Acquiring
experience)
 Drive Product and Process innovation
 Act as a bridge between business and IT / Technology vendor
 Monitoring the testing plan and ensure closure within given timelines
 Handling projects from the business end
 Follow processes specified by various stakeholders
Role Proficiencies:
For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess the following:
 Knowledge of industry, technology, marketing, product trends, acquiring industry and latest technologies
 Knowledge of card transaction life cycle
 Good understanding of Credit Cards, Unsecured and Secured Asset product and understanding of Liabilities side of
banking
 Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment
 Good communication (both verbal and written) skills in both English and the local language
 Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms
 Ability to manage complex client situations
