Introduction:

Automated transport system is widely used globally. People are availing this
facility rapidly. People are rapidly changing their interest from typical vehicles
towards automated vehicles which can be tracked easily via trackers. Therefore,
this trend is becoming more common worldwide. More likely it is important to
save time of the public by providing a more quick and secure transportation system
which is possible due to the GPS technology. GPS is widely used for vehicle
tracking system in modern world. GPS is essential tool in locating people
anywhere in the world. Tracking of the public transports is possible due to the
applications having tracking functionality installed in android phones. These
applications make it easy for a layman to have easy access to the public vehicles.
Android applications like Careen and Uber are inspiring android developers to
create such new applications which can be used to enhance the public
transportation security and accuracy using GPS trackers.(abbas, sammah et al.
2019).
In developing countries like Pakistan, there is no proper utilization of the
automated transportation applications. But now Android applications for tracking
public transportation system are running in Pakistan. People find this change of
transportation network very comfortable. Therefor android developers in Pakistan
are looking forward to trigger this system to make the public transportation system
more workable and quicker. (Vimala, D. P., et al. 2019).
Thousands of students studying in schools, colleges and universities travel through
public transportation to reach their destination. Due to untimed vehicles and buses
they face many problems to reach on the desired spot. Due to poor quality of
public transport system, it is causing loss of time. As students travel through public
transportation, their security and accuracy of timing is a matter of great
importance(Bhor, Kadam et al. 2017). Transportation plays an important role in
travelling of students from their home to destination, public. GPS works to secure
students and to inform their parents where they are by tracking their location
(Vimala, Parul et al. 2019). Educational departments in USA, Australia and Europe
have created a proper secure transportation system for students to travel (Shaaban,
Bekkali et al. 2013). IT is playing a vital role in easiness and stability of the
transportation system to move students from one place to another via applications
