Meghan has worked directly with me at Kearns High School during her student teaching
practicum for the past five months. She has continually impressed me by demonstrating
unwavering passion for teaching and an astute ability to quickly establish strong relationships
and rapport with her students. She has established a respectful class atmosphere that welcomes
and encourages student success for a diverse range of abilities. Her high expectations have led
her students to be well engaged in learning about art.

Meghan has a fantastic command of her curriculum. Her online preparation and ability to
navigate Canvas, Grade Book, and Google Suites have had a profoundly positive impact on her
students during this challenging time in education due to Covid 19. She has seamlessly created
successful hybrid classroom experiences that have become an essential part of her student’s
reality during the 2020 school year.

Meghan consistently demonstrates a willingness to go to the extra mile to help her students keep
up with her lessons, access learning, and remain successful in their online and face to face
learning environments. She has spent many hours videotaping herself and her teaching to create
community with online learners in the most personal way possible. Her organizational ability is
outstanding, and her curriculum is thorough and meaningful. When students have struggled Ms.
Connects with them on multiple modalities in order to ensure their success and engage their
dedication to their learning.

Meghan expresses emotional gratification about her students in a way that showcases her deep
connection and passion to the field. I believe that her drive make a difference in student’s lives
will carry her successfully throughout her career.

Working with Meghan has been easy for me because she is pleasant, friendly, and outstandingly
professional. She is a direct, reflective, and motivated educator who receives constructive
criticism well, and works diligently to improve her teaching daily. Meghan has been unselfish
with her time and has helped me understand our Canvas program better. Her work ethic has
completely exceeded expectations, especially in the midst of such a trying experience in
education.

While I am sorry that our time working together will soon come to an end, I am also optimistic
that Meghan Allen will be assuming the role of full-time teacher. I can assure you that Meghan
