What is Leadership? What is your understanding of leadership?

For me Leadership refers to the quality of leading people. It is one of the most important aspects of life.
Without good leadership, no organization or group can succeed. Furthermore, not everyone has this
quality because it requires certain important characteristics.
1. Confidence is the most quality. A leader must have strong self-confidence. A person or a leader
must be confident enough to guarantee others follow and must have confidence in his decisions or
actions.
2. A good leader must certainly inspire others. A leader must be a role model for his followers.
He must always be motivated and must not lose hope.
3. Honesty is another notable quality of a leader. Honesty and Integrity are important to earn the
love of followers. Above all, honesty is essential to win the trust of the people.
4. Good communication is a must for a good leader. Good communication will increase the
proportion of work and lessen the chances of making mistakes. Good verbal communication and
social skills are essential for collaborating with others. You need to be able to communicate in a
variety of ways, from transmitting information to coaching your people. And you must be able to
listen to, and communicate with, a wide range of people across roles, social identities, and more.
5. Decision making. Good decision making ensures the success of the entire group.
6. A good leader must be an excellent innovator. He must display a creative attitude in his work.
Innovation guarantee the survival of a group.
7. Ability to Delegate. Entrusting is one of the core responsibilities of a leader.
8. Self-Awareness is paramount for leadership. The better you understand yourself, the more
effective you can be.
9. Gratitude. Being thankful can make you a better leader. Gratitude can lead to higher self-esteem,
reduced depression and anxiety, and even better sleep.
10. Learning Agility. Learning agility is the ability to know what to do when you don’t know what
to do. If you’re a “quick study” or are able to excel in unfamiliar circumstances, you might
already be learning agile.
11. Influence “influence” feels like a dirty word. But being able to convince people through logical,
emotional, or cooperative appeals is a component of being an inspiring, effective leader.
Influence is quite different from manipulation, and it needs to be done authentically and
transparently. It requires emotional intelligence and trust-building.
12. Courage is a key skill for good leaders. Rather than avoiding problems or allowing conflicts to
fester, courage enables leaders to step up and move things in the right direction.
13. Respect. Treating people with respect on a daily basis is one of the most important things a
leader can do. It will ease tensions and conflict, create trust, and improve effectiveness.

To conclude, leadership is required in probably every sphere of life. It is motivating other

people toward a common goal. Good leadership is the door of success.
Member State is defined a country that belongs to a political, economic, or trade organization
such as the European Union: We are determined to eliminate any practices that might affect
trade between member states.

The European Union (EU) consists of 27 member states. These are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria,
Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary,
Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania,
Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden. Each member state is party to the founding treaties of the
union and thereby shares in the privileges and obligations of membership. Unlike members of
other international organizations, the member states of the EU agreed by treaty to shared
sovereignty through the institutions of the European Union.

The European Union (EU) is a political and economic partnership that represents a unique form
of cooperation among sovereign countries. The EU is the latest stage in a process of integration
begun after World War II, initially by six Western European countries, to foster interdependence
and make another war in Europe unthinkable. The EU currently consists of 27 member states,
including most of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, and has helped to promote peace,
stability, and economic prosperity throughout the European continent.
