SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE MEMBERSHIP

LATIN AMERICAN PELVIC FLOOR ASSOCIATION (ALAPP)

The LATIN AMERICAN PELVIC FLOOR ASSOCIATION - ALAPP is a scientific association,


representing health professionals whose area of expertise or knowledge is related to disorders
of the pelvic floor: urology, gynecology, coloproctology, geriatrics, physiotherapy, psychology,
nursing, occupational therapy and social service - respectful of the legislation that regulates the
exercise of the above professions in each country-, which offers medical specialists in the
matter the option to become part of the association by paying an annual membership fee,
through which users or members obtain different types of benefits.

To become a User or Member, you must at least: (i) be a natural person of 18 years of age or
older, and have legal capacity to conclude legal transactions; and (ii) be certified as a
specialized medical doctor with knowledge related to pelvic floor disorders: urology, gynecology,
coloproctology, geriatrics, physical therapy, psychology, nursing, occupational therapy and
social service.

As a Member of the LATIN AMERICAN PELVIC FLOOR ASSOCIATION -ALAPP you are
entitled to the following benefits:

(i) Continuing education: The User will be granted access to a series of multidisciplinary
events concerning the pelvic floor specialties so that his/her education expands and
continues over time;
(ii) Special discounts: Membership will allow the User to be part of our wide portfolio of
educational events with payment arrangements, special prices and additional
benefits;
(iii) Exclusive access: The User will be granted access to webinars, exclusive for
members, as well as content of interest, trends and new techniques in the pelvic floor
area;
(iv) Virtual Library: Membership will give the User access to a wide catalog of contents
specialized in Pelvic Floor, presented and edited so that his/her learning is not
paused;
(v) Research and Discussion: The User may deepen the discussion on relevant aspects
of the Pelvic Floor and may be part of our different committees and research groups;
(vi) Professional Networking: The User who is part of the community will be able to
strengthen academic and fraternal ties with colleagues and professionals who share
his/her objectives in this field.

The value of the annual membership is fifty dollars (50 USD) and will be valid for a period of
three hundred sixty-five days (365) counted from the day of payment. Benefits apply since the
membership subscription. The rate does not include additional services to which the User
wishes to access, nor events, conferences, symposia, educational or multidisciplinary events
that are not contemplated for the members' area. Nevertheless, the User may access exclusive
discounts and real benefits granted by ALAPP.

The rate and conditions of the membership offered by ALAPP can be modified unilaterally by
ALAPP at any time. Nevertheless, these modifications will not apply to current ALAPP
members. Thus, changes will only apply at the time the User accepts them when renewing the
membership. In case of not agreeing with the modifications, the previous conditions will be
respected for a period of thirty (30) days. In case of not wanting to continue with the
membership, the User may modify his/her preferences and / or cancel it in the "Membership"
section of the website www.alapp.org.

Any new or renovated ALAPP membership shall be subject to the terms and conditions valid at
the time, which will be provided to the user at the time he/she signs up for the subscription.
ALAPP may also make changes regarding current memberships of ALAPP Users, which will
apply once the initial term of the membership expires. In that case, we will notify the User
informing that changes have been made and when they will be effective.

ALAPP understands that the Users' time is valuable and limited, and that they have multiple
occupations and matters to deal with on a daily basis. For this reason, by accepting these terms
and conditions, ALAPP membership will automatically renew and the applicable membership
fee will be automatically debited from your credit card. If the User does not want the automatic
renewal of the membership, he/she can cancel the default charge in his/her account settings at
whenever he/she wants.

The User can cancel his/her ALAPP membership at any time in the "Membership" section of
the website www.alapp.org. In the event of such cancellation, the membership will be valid for
the remaining time corresponding to the annual subscription and will no longer renew
automatically.

ALAPP membership is unique, personal and non-transferable, so under no circumstances may


it be transferred or assigned to another ALAPP User or to a third party, even if the new party
meets the requirements and has an interest to become a member.

ALAPP reserves the right to:

(i) Publish scientific, commercial, promotional information, among others, on its website
www.alapp.org, as well as on all its social networks, including the members page,
information that will be treated in accordance with its data processing policy which
can be found on our website. Moreover, the User declares and accepts that ALAPP
provides space for the publication of professional opinions and scientific research by
different health professionals on its website, social networks, and other information
channels, which will be done under their own responsibility.

(ii) Accept, block, reject or cancel the membership at any time, in case of violation of
internal policies.

(iii) Publish on its website, social networks and / or events in which it intervenes as an
organizer or participant, sponsorships, linking and dissemination of trademarks and
to publicize, by any means, the participation of its allies and collaborators in any of
the activities.

(iv) With the subscription, the User accepts and authorizes ALAPP to send him/her
emails with -but not limited to- information about services, research, publications,
academic events organized by the institution and / or those in which it participates
and, in general, information related to ALAPP’s purpose.

With the subscription, the User also declares to know and accept ALAPP’s statutes, and other
regulations and operating policies.

The ALAPP membership service is governed by these Special Terms, as well as by ALAPP’s
General Terms and Conditions and its Personal Data Processing Policy.
