Explores the fields of electricity, electronics, instrumentation & controls, mechanical systems,
industrial skills, power plant generation, industrial plant operations, energy transmission and
distribution, and power skills.

Desert Sage Phoenix Public Library Phoenix, AZ May 2019-March 2020
Teen Volunteer
Responsibilities include: Assisting manager/librarian, printing, shelving books, registering
families for family programs, participating as an assistant at showcases, helping anyone that has
issues with the printers or computers

Yale Young Global Scholars Connect July 2020
Participated in unique, college-prep experiences that used interactive activities that included
research, laboratory visits, presentations, seminars, college-major explorations and panel
discussions
Chose potential learning communities related to math-based sciences, engineering, social and
behavioral sciences, education, business or sustainability while developing leadership skills in
team-building activities
Outreach program for first generation students, helped give insight on qualifications for
universities, learning experience with other teenager, learned about financial aid and
extracurricular activities
Interacting with other students with the same career path, received a learning experience at
the university dorms, took two college level classes of interest
