SCOPE OF SUPPLY
Capacity : 1000 L

Type : Double Jacketed
This tank will be used to collect honey and pre-heat honey before further process. Melted
honey drum to be unloaded in this tank. This tank will be double jacketed with a provision
of hot water circulation in the jacket. Finally tank will be insulated and cladded with SS 304.
Tank also equipped with agitator with suitable gear motor.
This filtration system will be used to remove coarse particles present in honey. One will be
in working condition and another will be in standby mode. This will be equipped with
necessary valves and fittings.
This will be used to pump the Honey from collection tank. This will have adequate capacity.
The pumps will be supplied with suitable HP rating motor.
This will comprise a set of tubes where honey will be provided a suitable residence time
and heated by hot water up to 65-70 °C. It is also equipped with holding tube for holding of
honey after pasteurization. It will be insulated and cladded with SS 304 sheet.

Transfer Pump:
This will have adequate capacity to pump the feed to the SSHE. The pumps will
be supplied with suitable HP rating motor. This will be equipped with VFD.

The inner shell will have scrapper for scrapping the product over inner shell in
order to get a thin uniform film, which is driven by electrical geared motor. This
will be jacketed, insulated and cladded with SS sheet. Gear motor will be equipped
with VFD.
Tolerances : ± 5%
This will have adequate capacity to pump the feed to the pasteurizer. The pumps
will be supplied with suitable HP rating motor. This will be equipped with VFD.
Condenser

This will have a bunch of SS tubes mounted in a vertical shell. The water is
circulated in the tubes and vapour gets condensed on the shell side.

This will be of liquid ring water sealed type coupled to an electric motor of suitable
rating through a flexible coupling. The pump will have sufficient capacity to
achieve the required vacuum in the plant.
Vapour Duct:

This will be made of suitable thickness stainless steel for interconnecting the scrap
surface evaporator and condenser.
There will be provision for inlet of hot water in the jacket of the evaporator and
outlet of hot water. The hot water again return to the hot water generator.
Micro filtration will be of sparkle type filter. This will be used for further filtration of
the honey. One will be in working condition and another will be in standby mode. This
will be equipped with necessary valves and fittings.

This tank will collect the filtrate honey from the micro filter. The honey from this tank
will transfer to the pasteurizer. This tank will be equipped with valve and legs.
This will have adequate capacity to pump the feed to the cooling section. The pumps
will be supplied with suitable HP rating motor.
This will comprise a set of tubes where honey will be cooled to 35 deg. C with the help
of cooling water (from cooling tower).

This will be used for settling/clarifying the concentrate honey before to pack. This will
be double jacketed with provision for circulation of hot water in jacket (Cone portion).

Complete with unions, bends, tees, valves, pipe supports, etc. for interconnecting
various components of the plant based on a compact layout.
The system will be complete with Processor, necessary analog/digital input output
card. Latest version of SCADA Software having run time facility with virginal license
will be provided. The controller will be communicating to the local I/O and SCADA
station over Ethernet network. SCADA will have following features:
1. Network speed will not drop due to increase in number of inputs and outputs.
2. The CPU will be 32 bit processor.
3. PID algorithm needs to be in auto/manual bump less transfer.
4. SCADA Run time software is required.
5. Capacity of SCADA software will be as per process requirement.
6. All the process will be operated from SCADA station. SCADA system has
following features:

250 GB SATA hard disk drive, Dual core 2.8 GHz (945 G chipset) Processor-915 ,1 GB RAM ,
CD read write, 06 numbers USB port , 01 no. serial port , Standard Key board, Optical Mouse
, 19” TFT monitor , UPS (1 KVA) along with hot standby. PC will be HP/DELL make with
latest version operating software. Operating software will be Windows XP Professional SP-2
and MS Office with original license. Laser jet B/W suitable for A4 size is included.

with relevant pipes, valves and fittings, etc. Hot water will be used for moisture
reduction in the evaporator.

7.6 Instrumentation
This will be used for controlling the temperature of honey in honey unloading tank,

The machine is Automatic for liquid filling. The heads will be operated with electric
motor drive operator with manual controls. The machine will be provided with ON-
OFF switches for the pump to control (start- stop) with operator at the time of filling
of bottles/jars.

UTILITY SUMMARY

EXCLUSIONS:
Deputation charges for Engineer, Technical personnel for installation of the Plant
2.1 Only One Engineer/Supervisor and One Skilled Technicians are required for
supervision of the installation and commissioning. However, in case of necessity
another 2/3 experts may need to visit the plant site.
2.2 You have to provide to and fro Air fare, visa charges, lodging, boarding, local
conveyance, telephone and fax facilities free of cost to all the SSP personnel for
supervision of erection and commissioning.
2.3 The amount of installation charges should be sent in advance on fortnight basis to SSP
Limited at India.
2.4 For installation and commissioning of the entire plant 3 months’ time is required
subject to your providing required power, skilled/unskilled labor and other services
in time at site.
2.5 In the event of any injury or sickness to any personnel the medical expenses has to be
borne by the buyer.
3. SHIPMENT:
Our offer is based CIF, Benapole Border therefore; we shall deliver the supplies and
equipment specified in our offer to the above mentioned port. The equipment supplied
as per our offer will be suitably packed to protect from damage or deterioration during
transit. The cost of insurance and inspection will be borne by the buyer.
4. PRICE ESCALATION:
The price quoted herewith in the quotation is based on the current prices of steel in the
market. In case, there is any escalation in the steel prices, we reserve the right to change
the price according to the following:
5. TERMS OF PAYMENT:
The buyer agrees to pay SSP for design, know-how, fabrication, equipment supplies,
erection, commissioning and training as specified in the contract, the following
percentages of the contract price.
5.1 100% of the contract value through irrevocable, transferable, divisible and confirmed
letter of credit in favor of SSP (Pvt.) LIMITED by a first class international bank out of
which :
5.1.3 It is essential for the buyer to obtain necessary clearance and authorization from the
competent authorities in their country regarding setting up of plant. The buyer has to
ensure that mode of payment of advance and the letter of credit or any other financial
instruments to be established, mutually agreeable by both the bankers located in the
buyer's and seller's country for the purpose.
7. LOCAL EXPENSES:
The buyer will be required to bear all necessary local expenses under legal and
statutory obligations like income tax, customs and duties, stamp duties, bank
charges and any other local expenses imposed on the personnel and equipment of
the seller.
8. DELIVERY TIME:
8.1 Supply :
The delivery time of plant and equipment will be within 5 months from the date of
opening of LC along with confirmed order.
It will be completed within 3 months from the date of receipt of our materials at site,
subject to the readiness of site for erection and commissioning and materials to be
supplied by buyer.
The buyer, if and when requested by SSP, for all appropriate facilities in accordance
with the law in general and in particular the buyer will provide:
9.1. Labour permits in due time for foreign personnel employed by SSP.
9.2. Any possible assistance and any needed intervention to enable the SSP staff to travel
in any part of the country in which the plant is located in connection with obligations
of SSP under the contract and to return to India with all their property and belongings.
9.3. Import permits under law of temporary importation suspension of custom duties to
be delivered for all items to be imported according to the contract within 30 days from
the date of submission and application related thereto and expedite clearance of all
such items through customs in due course without any guarantee except that one of
the buyer.
9.4. Re-export permits and any other clearance documents to be obtained for all items
which may be re-exported within 60 days from the date of submission of an
application to this effect by the buyer.
9.5. To enable SSP to have free access to and through properties of third parties whenever
such case is needed for carrying out the work covered by the contract and to have free
entrance at the site.
9.6. All necessary transportation for the SSP staff free of charge. Cars or other such
transportation will be supplied and provided by the buyer inclusive of oil, tyres,
maintenance, etc.
9.7. The Buyer will provide free of charge all necessary air tickets, for SSP staff for travel
from New Delhi, India to the country in which the plant is located and back to New
Delhi, India in economy class.
Buyer will make arrangements for the SSP office at the site and boarding and lodging
for the staff. Furniture and all equipment for this accommodation will be provided by
the buyer.
Buyer has to undertake to make available to SSP at the utilization point the necessary
supply of electricity in the quantity and the voltage required by SSP.
All necessary arrangement will be made by buyer for the provision of suitable skilled
and required for the execution and completion of the work as required by SSP.
Tools and tackles along with consumables (like Geared grinding machine with flexible
shaft, Welding Rectifier/Generator, Chain Pulley Block or crane for lifting the
equipment, Gas Cutting set with all accessories, etc.) necessary for the erection work
is to be supplied by the buyer.
Unless otherwise agreed the parties understand that the flooring, civil and structural
works will be completed by the buyer before SSP’s team reaches the site.
15. ARBITRATION:
Any and all disputes of whatsoever nature which might arise in connection with the
conclusion, performance, interpretation, cancellation, termination, annulment of the
contract, will be settled amicably through good faith negotiation between the
representatives of both parties within 45 days from the date of a written notification
addressed by any party to the other and expounding the question under dispute and
the name(s) of the representatives thereof.
Should the parties fail to reach a friendly and amicable settlement within the time limit
set out in the preceding paragraph; the dispute will be referred to arbitration in
accordance with the rules and regulations of the Arbitration Act of India.
The arbitration committee shall meet in India and shall take into consideration the
terms of the contract and the trade usage.
In case the buyer fails to meet his obligations under the above (withdrawal of the
goods) as regards the withdrawal of the goods, SSP will be ipso-facto relieved from
any and all responsibilities for the care of the said goods, and all consequences of the
said failure will be faced by the buyer.
Our offer is subjected to force majeure clause. We shall not be held responsible for any
delay in execution of the work for causes beyond our control such as war, revolution,
strike, epidemic, accidental fire, flood or any other act of God, act or omission of any
government or any agency thereof.
18. GUARANTEE:
Equipment supplied is guaranteed for a period of one year beginning with the date of
testing. The guarantee excludes war, misuse and accidents, during the period of
guarantee the cost of replacement and repairs from faulty equipment, will be borne by
SSP, excluding travel by SSP staff and forwarding costs for faulty equipment.
The repair of supplies and equipment not covered under this guarantee will be the
responsibility of the buyer.
In case of failure of any material supplied during the period of guarantee, the nature
and the cause of failure will be agreed between SSP and buyer under the terms of this
agreement. The extent, the cause and the nature of the failure will be clearly agreed for
purpose of appointment of responsibility between the buyer and SSP under the terms
of this guarantee.
Payment of costs for removing of the defective parts and liability for direct or indirect
damages, except repair, replacement, modification or improvement, are not in SSP’s
scope.
Notwithstanding the terms of this guarantee, equipment supplied that remain un-
installed for four(4) months after the date of shipment will be excluded from the
guarantee and will be implicitly accepted and tested by the buyer. Such test will
absolve SSP from the obligation under this guarantee.
There shall be no liability for either party towards the other party for loss of
production, loss of profit, loss of use, loss of contracts or for any other consequential
or indirect loss whatsoever.
20. DISCLAIMER:
Any losses incurred by the buyer, such as materials, production, time run over costs
during erection and commissioning or after the commissioning of the plant at buyers
site, shall not be claimed by the buyer and shall be absorbed by the buyer himself.
The name of the SSP’s representative, if any, responsible for the supervision of the job
and also the buyer's consultants, if any, responsible for the work, will be
communicated in writing before starting the work.
Should there be any change, in the appointed personnel on either side, such
information will be communicated to the parties in writing by registered letter or any
other mutually agreeable mode to the parties.
