Section 3: Composition/information on ingredients
3.1. Substances
Skin contact: Drench the affected skin with running water for 10 minutes or longer if substance is still
on skin.
Eye contact: Bathe the eye with running water for 15 minutes. Transfer to hospital for specialist
examination.
Ingestion: If conscious, give half a litre of water to drink immediately. Transfer to hospital as soon
as possible.
Inhalation: Remove casualty from exposure ensuring one's own safety whilst doing so. If
unconscious and breathing is OK, place in the recovery position.
4.2. Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Immediate / special treatment: Eye bathing equipment should be available on the premises.
Section 5: Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Suitable extinguishing media for the surrounding fire should be used. Water spray.
Carbon dioxide. Dry chemical powder.
5.2. Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Advice for fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective clothing to prevent contact
with skin and eyes.

Personal precautions: Refer to section 8 of SDS for personal protection details. Mark out the contaminated area
with signs and prevent access to unauthorised personnel.

Environmental precautions: Do not discharge into drains or rivers. Contain the spillage using bunding.

Disposal operations: Transfer to a suitable container and arrange for collection by specialised disposal
company. Do not allow entry to drains or waterways. Do not place product spillages, full
or partially full containers into waste skips or waste compactors.
Disposal of packaging: Containers must be disposed of in a safe way.
