Concept:
Students will gathering formation from Internet for a unique purpose:

Students will use the insight obtained from internet for envisioning their personal
preferences, in wich they will portray in a personal portafolio using the Monkey jam,
according to the topics related tot he EFL lessons developed along the year.

Standars:

Goals:
- Students will compile important personal information and incorpórate it into a
personal EFL portafolio. A completed portafolio enables students to show case
their acquired meaningful learning and reflect achievement of the learning
results.
- Students will increase their knowledge, experience and technology skills in a
multimedia applications: MonkeyJam.
Objectives:
Upon completion of the unit students will be able to:
- Identify personal likes and dislikes by completing web-based personal
portafolio
- Capture pictures, video and audio from internet and a hard drive folder.

Required material:
- Applications; MonkeyJam
- Scanner digital camera
- Internet
- Pc
- Web cam
Anticipatory set:
A power point will be shown regarding the personal portafolio information
collection requirements, then recommend notes to be taken on it for now during
the presentation of then learning units.

Procedures:
The teacher explains in Spanish how to do a monkey jam.
1. Open MonkeyJam software.
2. After a welcome screen, the program window opens.
3. Click on the first icon to create a layer. A dialogue box to set the
properties of the layer opens
4. Click on the third from last icon to connect to the webcam.
5. The Capture dialogue box appears.
6. Click on Mode in the menu bar and
Select Stop Motion.
7. The Cameras drop down menu will show you
The list of cameras you have attached to the computer.
8. Choose the one you would like to use.
9. The Size menu will give you a number of different sizes of video
You can create. It is recommended to use 800 X 600.
10. If you click Video Settings you will get a dialogue box from where
you can Vary some settings

Adaptations:
The unit, Nice to Meet You, is not restricted to work book
or student book vocabulary students have the options to explore and resear to
the future endeavors.

Extention:
Students have restrictions in expanding learning

Independ practice:
Computer skills development wills be obtained by indepent practice throughout
the development of the personnel portfolio.

Closure:
Students are invited to ask questions to clarify key points, major points of the
learning and objectives are reiterated. Association of the usefulness and
benefit of the project is not their future benefit.

Topic:
Greeting and instructions.

Approximate time: 3 of 45 min each hour.

Learning objective:
By the end of this unit students will be able to exchange greetings and
telephone numbers with peers/ teacher, introduce themselves and others by
working in pairs and in groups, in other to improve relationships among them.

Procedure:
1rs Class
- Warm up; greet the students
- Presentation: The teacher introduces the topic of the lesson, then
teacher present a short conversation and express greetings and
expressions from context.
- Teacher writes numbers from 1-10on the board and have students
pronounced them.
- Diagnostic: The teacher ask simple question to students, also do
brainstorming.

2nd class
- Warm up; Greet the students
- Teacher asks to the students if they know any other to greet people,
and students write on the board
- Practice; The teacher model the conversation, she or he introduces
himself to some students
- Teacher ask to students to come up to the frot to introduce himself or a
partner
- Students practice the conversation usin gtheir own information

3rd Class
- Warm up: Greet the student
- Student will fill in the information of his partners( names and last
names) in the follo wing chart:

Evaluations:
Students have to elaborate the class telephoning directory in groups of 3 as
homework. Tell them to be creative as possible.

- Respectfully exchanges greeting and courtesy expression in a dialogue
- Correctly names and pronounces numbers from 0 to 10.
- Write dialogues using greetings using courtesy courtesy expression
correctly
- Differentiates accurately the ten and by endings in numbers from 13 to
19
- Ask question to confirm names and telephone numbers .
