Subject: Enrolling opportunity for CME on ECG – An accredited program with

CME credit points

Dear Doctors,

We are offering a Continuous Medical Evalution program on ECG. This course discusses the
diagnosis, management strategies and medications in managing ECG, pre & amp, post events.
The course will provide a detailed understanding of ECG management, both in acute and
chronic settings, through a series of lectures followed by real life case studies.

The content of this course is explicit and creatively presented. You will complete the course
without any hassle in the comfort of your drawings room. You will be able to perform the ECG
and even refer patients to a few specialised hospitals that offer further treatment.

Over 1 lakh medical practitioners have used the Omnicuris app since inception and as the
nation is a step closer to providing better and quality healthcare, the enterprise is already
making plans to penetrate deeper into the medical fraternity with a target of training two
lakhs doctors by end of 2020.

The Importance of Continuing Medical Education (CME) is crucial to the prosperity of health
care providers—it allows a practitioner to learn and discover viable ways to improve on the
patient care they deliver and effectively manage a career in the ever-changing landscape of
the medical industry.

Though the endeavour is admirable, it is learnt that only 300 doctors have completed the
program. We believe the root cause of this problem is that we have not aggressively
communicated the benefits of this Project. I have highlighted some of the advantages of this
Project which I feel will be helpful in encouraging the adoption to complete the program.

 There may be a possibility that the medical professionals are not taking this program
seriously. Please make a note that this program will provide CME credit points and
doctors need to earn them in order to continue their practice. Authorised
accreditation councils and licensing authorities award CME credits for maintenance of
licensure of registered medical practitioners
 Accreditation of CME is the recognition and certification of CME organised by an
institution or organisation that meets defined standards, which in turn encourages
institutional development. For this purpose, our CME is accredited by Association of
Physicians of India.
  Although CME events benefit healthcare professionals by improving their proficiency
and awareness, costs even to attend such interventions may be prohibitive. We will
ensure that the financial help will be provided through grants and sponsorships.
 Though CME is a valuable mechanism to update physicians’ knowledge with ever-
increasing plethora of contemporary advances within medical fraternity, it
additionally brings about behavioural changes, societal and managerial skills, imparts
the value of ethics and assists in achieving the primary goal of providing optimal
patient care.
 Our state government has made re-registration for medical licensure mandatory for
medical practitioners. Hence, it is pertinent to attend these CME and earn credit
points which can be used for the recertification.

With all these points communicated, I believe we will be able to enhance the adoption of
doctors to the targeted number. As gained by the previous experiences, our firm reliance in
medical professionals will give us the confidence in completing this project. We have executed
many projects successfully and together as a team, we will complete the ECG Project within
the stipulated time.
