QUALITIES IN CHOOSING A LIFE PARTNER

Growing up we start to create a picture of our ideal life partner.

Family and friend have their own inputs in what qualities that I should
look for in a life partner. Qualities that are sometimes too unrealistic.
Here are a few of the qualities that I was looking for:

I prayed to God to give me a life partner that shares the same

faith as me. I have seen the difficulty and relation strain when you
belong to opposite faith. And I don’t want that.

I wanted a life partner who has a good relationship with his

family. You can see if a may will treat you well in the way he treats his
family most especially his mother and sisters.

I want a life partner who will not just be my husband but will
also be my friend. I want a life partner who is responsible and
matured.

And I am very happy that the Lord has granted the desire of my
heart. My husband possesses the qualities of a life partner that I asked
God for. God created somebody specially for me. Just like what the song
said:

Until then, oh lord

I will be content

Knowing that true love

Will come someday

It will only come from you

So I promise to be true to you

To live my life in purity

As unto you

Waiting for the day
