Hello, everybody!
It’s a pleasure greeting you today. I’m writing in this
opportunity to express my opinion about traffic in my
City Cali, Colombia.
There’s too much traffic in this city, and it’s getting
worse! A few years ago, it took me 10 minutes to get
downtown. Now it takes me more than 30 minutes
during rush hour! There should be more Mio buses lines. I
think people want to use public transportation but we
need more buses on the streets. The biggest problem is
the price. It is getting higher every year but the qualities
lower. Also, traffic officers are not enough; they should
be in all avenues and main streets of the city watching
people to respect traffic signs and people’s turns to pass.
In conclusion, citizens are also responsible for these bad
conditions we have now. We should leave home a bit
earlier, be more tolerant and drive slower.
In conclusion, If we keep this mess, in 5 years we won’t
need 30, but 2 hours minimum to get to our destinations.
