Vicky’s holiday plans
The summer holidays start next week. I’m excited because I’m
going to visit France with my family. We went to France last
year, but it was boring because we stayed in a hotel. I don’t
like hotels! This year we aren’t going to stay in a hotel. We’re
going to have a camping holiday.
Our campsite is in a forest. There won’t be many cars, so it’ll be
a good place for cycling. I’m going to take my mountain bike.
My brother doesn’t like cycling, but my sister will probably
come cycling with me. There’s a beach about two kilometres
from the campsite, so I’m going to take my swimming costume,
too.
We’ll be at the campsite for two weeks. I think it’ll be hot in
France, but it sometimes rains, so we’re going to take
waterproofs. I can only speak a few words of French, so I’m
going to take a phrase book. Maybe my French will improve!
