INTRODUCTION

Artificial intelligence provides software that allows for the interpretation and explanation
of input data. Artificial intelligence will also include a human-like interaction with software and
the ability to provide decision support for certain tasks.

AI will also give students instant and precise feedback on their productivity. AI systems
are capable of quickly and objectively evaluating responses and providing detailed feedback.
This facilitates the student's identification of areas for improvement and swift correction of
errors, facilitating their learning process.

There's a new time for learning and exploration, thanks to the rapid growth of chatbots
and artificial intelligence (AI). The effect of artificial intelligence on academic performance is
investigated in a research paper that aims specifically at the effect it has on student's productivity.
A review of related literature, which covered the period 2017–2023, analyzed 10 articles. The
findings show that by personalizing learning, automating administrative tasks, and providing
intelligent support, AI-powered educational tools could fundamentally change paradigms in
traditional education.

Artificial intelligence efficiently addresses challenges faced by students in today's

educational environment, such as increased workload and pressure. By optimizing the time to be
used through intelligent scheduling, task management, and performance analysis, students can
benefit from effective learning strategies. This article, which provides valuable insight into how
to explore and implement AI solutions in educational settings, contributes to building up an
increasing body of knowledge concerning their effect on the learning productivity of students.

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Intelligent systems, including personalized learning for students, are an efficient means of
supporting education and teaching via the Internet. However, while the opportunities for AI are
promising, the impact of AI systems on the culture, norms, and expectations about interactions
between students and instructors is still elusive. To address this need for forward-looking
decisions, we used Speed Dating with storyboards to analyze the authentic voices of students and
instructors on diverse use cases of possible AI systems in online learning.

The findings show that participants consider the use of artificial intelligence systems for
online learning could allow Personalized interaction between learners and instructors on a large
scale but at risk of violating social boundaries. Despite the positive recognition of AI systems for
improving the quantity and quality of communication, for providing Just-in-time, Personalized
support for large-scale settings, and for improving the feeling of connection, there were concerns
about responsibility, agency, and surveillance. These findings have implications for the
development of artificial intelligence systems to be able to explain, Humanise, loop, and
carefully collect and present data. Overall, the impact of this study has been to develop AI
system storyboards that are technically feasible and helpfully promote interaction between
learners and trainers while also capturing students' and instructors' interest in artificial
intelligence systems through speed dating; suggesting possible practical implications for
maximizing positive impacts as well as minimizing negative ones. (Seo, K., Tang, J., Roll, I. et al

The researchers chose this topic to remind students and to prevent the rising use of
Artificial Intelligence rate. The main goal of this study is to provide students with knowledge
that there's a challenge in AI. And also, to develop their mind to avoid using Artificial
Intelligence. Moreover, This study will give readers and future researchers an insight into how
Artificial Intelligence (AI) affects the Academic Productivity of Students and what people should
do to prevent it. We are using this opportunity to spread awareness and add to the number of
studies that have reliable and credible information that readers, future researchers, and the
respondents can be based on.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This research aims to investigate the effects of artificial intelligence (AI) on the academic
productivity of students. It recognizes the increasing use of AI technologies in education and the
need to understand how these technologies impact student learning outcomes, engagement,
motivation, and overall academic success. The research intends to explore the existing literature
and provide insights into the potential benefits and challenges of integrating AI in education. By
doing so, it aims to contribute to the existing body of knowledge and inform educators,
researchers, and policymakers about the implications of AI technologies on student academic
productivity.

1. What is the profile of the students in terms of:

1.1 Name
1.2 Age
1.3 Sex

2. How does the use of AI-based adaptive learning systems impact student learning
outcomes?

3. How does AI contribute to personalized learning and individualized instruction?

4. How do AI technologies influence student engagement in the learning process?

5. What is the impact of AI-based virtual assistants on student motivation and self-regulated
learning?
SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY

This study aims to investigate the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the academic
performance of Grade 11 students at St. Theresa School in Novaliches, Quezon City.

The study will collect personal information from the respondents and ask them specific
questions to ensure the credibility and informativeness of the study for future researchers and
readers. The goal is to highlight the importance of quality education.

HYPOTHESIS

Artificial Intelligence enhances the efficiency of studying by providing concise

explanations and simplifying complex concepts. It also excels at answering follow-up questions
and providing coherent responses, making it easier to find accurate information.

However, the increasing role of AI in education presents both opportunities and

challenges. Educators can utilize AI to improve student outcomes and promote equity, while still
recognizing the essential role of teachers in fostering growth and learning.

Nevertheless, there is a concern that excessive reliance on technology may lead to the
neglect of traditional teaching methods and hinder the development of critical thinking and
problem-solving skills.

CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

The research framework focuses on the relationship between the independent variable,
which is Artificial Intelligence, and its impact on the dependent variable, which is the academic
productivity of Grade 11 students.
THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK

This study was anchored on the Theory of Student Experience Practitioners Transitions
(SEPT) of Morgan (2013) according to him, student advanced education experience can be
considered as a series of interdependent, overlying, but not need successional, phases. This
life-cycle approach is frequently used by directors to manage students' lives as it distinguishes
the critical rudiments of experience allowing the design and delivery of focused executive
services.

This theory pointed out that the student lifecycle and the grouping of activity sets create
target groups for experimentation and piloting within definable and accepted domains, allowing
for effective hypothesis testing, collaboration, and comparison with other institutions.

The researcher believed that the academic success of students, however, relies on a
composite of all aspects of the student's life. These other aspects include mental welfare and
support, social interactions, sports, and physical health, and effective life balance, all of which
contribute to the experience the student has in their higher education career.

Figure 1. The Student Experience Practitioner Transitions (SEPT)

by: Morgan (2013)

The diagram shows that the theory is composed of the following hypothesis
The stages can be summarized as follows:

1. First Contact and Admissions - At this stage, the student makes an application to an
institution based on his/her interests.

2. Pre-Arrival - The student has been accepted to a program and any other requirements must be
completed before the student arrives to embark on the course of study, such as receipt of final
transcripts
3. Arrival and Orientation - Introduction to how the degree will be completed and getting used
to campus life

4. Induction to Study - The first year of education when the student is introduced to coursework

5. Reorientation and Induction - gaining new skills as one progresses through their degree by
taking advanced courses

Artificial intelligence( AI) has the implicit to appreciatively impact the productivity of
students. AI can give effective literacy styles and substantiated feedback, allowing students to
learn more efficiently. Also, AI algorithms can be used to prognosticate the performance of
scholars and classes, enabling visionary interventions to ameliorate academic success and reduce
powerhouse rates. Still, it's important to note that handed objectification does not specifically
address the goods of AI on student productivity.
