Course Description

In this course students explore the relationships


between project management and the greater
context of organizational strategies, operations
management, and portfolio and program
management. Students learn the vocabulary,
definitions, principles and concepts of project
management.

Vocational Learning Objectives

VLO 1 Manage project goals, constraints, deliverables, performance


criteria, quality control needs, and resource requirements as

Case Study-1:
Value Delivery Case Study-1: Value Delivery - The Solution Package- 10%
- The Solution The Future & Beyond (called FAB) a consultancy services firm has
Package- 10% decided to give a wrist watch with a specially designed and branded
bracelet to all its employees. The strategic objective of this idea is that
anybody seeing an employee of the firm should immediately recognise
them as belonging to FAB. Thus this watch-bracelet will act as a brand
statement for this company.
The size of the watch has been decided but the source has not been
decided as yet. Your team has to design the watch-bracelet alone.
You have to explain the entire process of arriving at the solution
package. Guidelines are on the next slide.
