Globalization
Globalization is either a threat or an opportunity in the industrialized countries. Modern
technology and mass media live TV, radio, gadgets are global standard. This means the
information can be distributed worldwide in real time at affordable prices. Globalization has 3
main areas. We have economy, it is the most affected area. International exports, foreign direct
investments have increase year by year because the companies make their products in countries
with low wages that's why it's competitive in the world market. Next is politics, it become
interdependent today and most issues was about climate change, crisis to finance and terrorism.
Government organizations can't even solve these problems but the non-governmental
organizations influence politics through communication. Globalization can be influence in our
culture as well. Example is the Americanization, it means the products and trends, culture, even
the language become dominant all over the world and can destroy cultural diversity.
Globalization and Infectious Disease Spread
The main reasons why the spreading of infectious disease become faster and faster because the
world now is more interconnected than before by international agreements and advance
technology, travel and shipping are now fast, cheap and safe but this intended movement brought
also unintended movement of diseases from parasites, pathogens and insect species. Example if
you travel in a country were that disease came from, you might already infected on that disease
without knowing it and when you got back to your country, you suddenly not feel well and you
didn't know that the disease starts spreading everywhere were you at. Spreading disease aren't
just humans but also the global trade of livestock. But it can be stop by scientists with the help of
their modern technologies they invented, they can monitor, predict and heal that kind of disease.
How Strict China's Censorship Law
China's authoritarian government has proven very adept at censoring the internet and other
media. They've also restrict threats especially in their communist party. Chinese internet doesn't
look like the rest of the world's internet. It's more like a closed-off bubble where only state-run
websites and a few heavily censored foreign sites are allowed to operate. They have this "Golden
Shield" were it can filter website addresses, block IP addresses' programs. Such as Facebook,
Google, Twitter and other popular apps worldwide and even western news. The movies are
edited before it released to the public, news stations needs approval when spreading stories that
can blow people's minds because if they didn't, their reporters will lose their journalist license
and even go to jail.
ASEAN Economic Community
ASEAN means Association of Southeast Asian Nations and composed of 10 countries: Brunei,
Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.
These 10 countries uniting together and helping each other to make it a better place to live by
obtaining peace towards each other countries because if we don't have peace, we can't have
prosperity. The economic development will be strong, we can apply jobs in any in these 10
countries, farmers benefits their products through exporting their products and we can access
innovates technologies by prospering our country. The most important part in ASEAN is the
people, without them we can't have peace and prosperity. ASEAN governments work hard by
keeping our environment clean, working together and helping each other so that the people will
enjoy a better life.
How can you relate the information you obtained from the videos to our video/audio?
Globalization
Globalization refers to the increasing of integration between the different states or societies
around the world. It increasingly merges the economy of many countries, encourage the global
economy and globalizes the statement of economic policies. Economic increases the integration
the movement of goods, services and capital across the borders around the world. Without
international trading system, our country can't obtain prosperity and there will be no
interdependence to other countries. In trading, we develop and benefit not just our own country
but also in other. Because the world is already connected, most people don’t notice globalization
at work every single day. But the world is getting smaller and companies need to understand
what this means for the future of doing business. Companies that don’t embrace globalization
can't avoid risk in losing competitive advantages, which allows other businesses to take over new
opportunities in the global marketplace.
Infectious Spread of Disease
Globalization really changed the aspect of the world. If we try to observe what's the point and all
of its process in globalization, the health sciences benefit on this from their understanding to the
phenomenon. It also relates in the great depression, example here is the pandemic happening in
2019-2020, the COVID, the economic crisis of today has been weaken because of this virus. Lots
of trading or transportation facilities are strict or not allowed or limited to travel and almost of
the people around the world loose their jobs. Trading was given a big part to this because without
international trading system to the different countries, infectious in spreading of diseases would
be worsen in that country and lead to plague if it will not cure immediately. The best strategy in
able to research, develop and provide medications to prevent these diseases before it became
worse is through collaboration and cooperation because it is important and without it those
infected countries can lead widespread of diseases to the world.
How Strict China's Censorship Law
China has the most extensive censorship program in the world and holds significant market
power in the global economy. Censorship in China is like a Russian-style, they're strict in
accessing the internet that's why they make the Golden Shield. Government in China measures in
destroying internet access or prevents the spreading of information online are generally
considered defeating the basic human rights in freedom of expression and the industry leads the
charge to consider censorship contradict to the global trading system. Economic censorship takes
place when state-owned enterprises or large private companies pressure the state to censor
negative reports or directly pay media companies to put down reports in favor of the positive.
They hides the markets and shifts investor money away from new market and towards large
state-owned enterprises.
ASEAN Community
The increase of the economic growth in ASEAN can be done through the improvement of levels
in economic and political globalization, preparedness of technologies, quality of infrastructures,
quality of education, government’s spending and the management of inflation rate. They wanted
to build this organization so that it can bring peace and prosperity to the people in the community
and trading will be easy because they trust each other. They collaborate, cooperate, help, respect
and develop each other to strengthen their partnership. They educes trade barriers between
member states and improving economic growth, promotes regional peace and stability of its
members, increase the tourism of the state members, improves human quality for ASEAN
member and cultural exchange to make the ASEAN community a better place.

Globalization
The world has becoming more and more interconnected. Globalization changes how the people
work, live and consume almost everywhere in the world. Never before in human history has
there existed such an intense relationship between the international trade, communication and
politics. Globalization is all around us, sometimes as an opportunity and sometimes as a
challenge. In today's world, economic, environmental, social and political problems and issues
are not limited to the national level because it has become so interdependent with each other.
Through Globalization, we are more connected with the world. Let's make this an opportunity to
learn from one country to another to obtain a better understanding that even with our differences,
we can always be united for the common good for each of our people.
Infectious Spread of Disease
Globalization increases the risk of the spread of infectious disease but it also facilitates more
collaboration and better communication that allow more comprehensive global effort towards
controlling the diseases. It is good to promote partnerships between private and public areas so
that the research and development of neglected diseases will increase, become more advance and
the spread of viruses at the source of will be prevented. Time and distance serve as the protection
against infectious diseases. Although, because of globalization and modern styles of
transportation of both people and goods, the distance and time can offer less protection against
the spreading of infectious diseases.
How Strict China's Censorship Law
Censorship is the way to lower people’s right of freedom in speech. When a journalist has to
report on what the government wants people to know, they do not have the freedom to express
what they really want to. Internet censorship can control the content that should be viewed on the
internet. Removing the Golden Shield/Great Firewall will raise the demand for uncensored
information by explaining the quality of foreign media to citizens. This will make reading and
watching of foreign media more socially acceptable or change the voice of domestic news
reports. If the calls for uncensored information became louder, it will be hard to silence it and
this could bring huge pressure on China's censorship.
ASEAN Community
Globalization contributed benefits for ASEAN countries like the development of education,
health system, employment opportunities, employment growth, technology information, and
competitive advantage. With the current economic situation that is going all over the world, it is
extreme important that countries are exposed to globalization and free trade because it brings
positive changes in countries, not only in ASEAN but all over the world.
