Nowadays, the rapid spread of the virus that causes COVID-19 has sparked alarm worldwide.
COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus - SARS-CoV2.In
my opinion, the government should impose a nationwide lockdown to stem the spread of the
coronavirus because there is currently no vaccine to prevent COVID-19. The virus is thought to
spread mainly from person to person so the best way to prevent illness is to avoid being
exposed to this virus. People must stay at home and will only be allowed to leave their home
for the very limited purposes such as shopping for basic necessities and healthcare. In
conclusion, everyone needs to join hands to fight against SARS-CoV2 and raise the awareness
of COVID-19 without increasing fear.
