Introduce yourself
Online rules remind students all the time. Display before starting and go through the rules
with the students.
What day is today? If yesterday was Saturday what day is today? If today is Sunday what day
is today?
Count with the students when doing the calendar
When introducing the letter play the song 1 st. Ask the students what do they think is our
letter today?
When reading the sentences use a laser pointer to point to the words
Reinforce + what does it mean? Have the + and = displayed.
What does = mean? It means altogether. We are adding 2 numbers together and counting
how many do we have altogether?
Have a system for students to answer – not all shouting at the same time.
