 Introduce yourself
 Online rules remind students all the time. Display before starting and go through the rules
with the students.
 What day is today? If yesterday was Saturday what day is today? If today is Sunday what day
is today?
 Count with the students when doing the calendar
 When introducing the letter play the song 1 st. Ask the students what do they think is our
letter today?
 When reading the sentences use a laser pointer to point to the words
 Reinforce + what does it mean? Have the + and = displayed.
 What does = mean? It means altogether. We are adding 2 numbers together and counting
how many do we have altogether?
 Have a system for students to answer – not all shouting at the same time.
 Plenary - What did we learn today?
