    Interview with Nicky

    Q: How did you report back?


    A: Phone at a place they stayed.

    Q: Did you have any emotional trouble phoning back?


    A: Not originally after calling editor but after speaking to at the time partner yes.

    Q: Were you excited to go?


    A: Yes but was a bit nervous.

    Q: How did you get dragged into this?


    A: Was told to ask to go by boss after the organizers called in asking for a piece to be posted
    to help collect aid

    Q: Would you still go if you were to find out was would happen
    A: Yes, because it is a really interesting and unique thing everybody should experience.

    Q: What was the scariest part?


    A: A few but notably when the helicopter flew over at the Slovenian border and at the
    barracks when they found out the Croatian guards were storing the aid

    Q: How come they let you go in the end?


    A: They didn’t. Had to drive through the closing gates and got chased and pulled over by
    police
