The ACE represents a new level of

scalable personal protective equipment
for soldiers performing a range of
operational scenarios during peacetime
and conflict. The modular component
design of the ACE makes it ideal for
soldiers involved in landmine, UXO and
booby trap clearance.

The ACE Vest forms the basis of the

ACE protective platform. Soldiers can
then add, without assistance, Trousers,
Sleeves and either Blast or Ballistic
Plates to achieve the levels and areas of
protective coverage necessary for the
task at hand.

MED-ENG TAC VISORS ®

The Med-Eng line of four new TAC Visors provide

full facial protection against fragmentation to front
line personnel.

The four visors - TAC-250-BA, TAC-550, TAC-450

and TAC-250 - are named for their protective
capabilities. The TAC-550 offers fragmentation
protection of up to 550 m/s, while the TAC-450
offers 450 m/s and both the TAC-250 and TAC-
250-BA offer 250 m/s. The TAC-250-BA Visor is
designed to be worn with a Breathing Apparatus.

The TAC Visors affix to PASGT and other ACH-

style combat and tactical helmets, such as the
Canadian Forces CG634 combat or tactical
helmets easily, quickly and without any tools. This
makes them an excellent solution for enhancing

The Visors include two (2) Anti-Fog/Anti-Scratch
appliqués and are curved to integrate with the
Med-Eng TAC 6 protective ensemble except TAC-
250-BA.

Each model has a locking pin to secure the visor

in raised and lowered positions during operation
or rest periods. The pin mounts to the left or right
side, based on user preference.
