RAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION PRESENTS 

2020 VIRTUAL​
TURKEY TROT 

You are invited to join Ray Elementary School for our FIRST EVER Virtual Turkey 
Trot! ​ Even though we cannot be together in person, we are still a community supporting 
each other and our students! 

This is a virtual event which can be completed anywhere and anytime between ​November 
25-29, 2020.​ YOU choose the distance you would like to complete. Students may walk, jog, 
or run! Teachers may also participate! Parents/guardians are encouraged to walk/run/jog 
with their students. You can sign up and track you miles ​here​. Please wait till you are done 
tracking all of your miles to submit them in the Google Form provided! There will be 
incentives for the classes with the most total miles!

 Why should you participate? 

It’s good for your health! As we all know, exercise is a key part of a healthy 
lifestyle. Whether you run, jog, or walk in this year’s Turkey Trot, you’ll be 
doing something great for your body!  

INCENTIVES 
There will be three divisions.​ KDG-2nd​, ​3rd-5th​, ​6th-8th.  

The class with the most miles in each division will win:  

-A virtual field trip with Ms. Jerris or Mr. McNaughton 

-A virtual movie party with Ms. Jerris or Mr. McNaughton 

-30 minutes of extra physical education time with Ms. Jerris or Mr. McNaughton
