There is a lot of information being told within these few sentences and it is hard to follow along. I
really enjoy what you have to say perhaps, you could avoid using "I must," or find a concreate
example that will defend your reason. Overall, this section will have a clear understanding of what
you as a teacher should do to remain flexible during change.

Your EPS has very good illustrative example. Yet, I would actually like to see a few references
from an article or book about how encouraging student to grow in a personal level becomes
essential. Since adding supportive facts and statement will make your paper be more clear and
concreate.

Your reason in these sentence is found throughout your paper which is really good and I really
enjoyed it. However, I commented in the first section that you should add this in the beginning of
your paragraph as your opinion and thesis statement. That way I know your main point before
reading the body of the paragraph and I can follow your principles throughout the paper.

Being an effective teacher encompasses many levels of commitment and requires a lot

more than just teaching the content necessary for the school year. Teachers can make differences
in a child's life, that can last a lifetime. It is essential for teachers to recognize the importance of

the position they hold in a child’s life. There are many important aspects of teaching that can be

used to help a student thrive, but if ignored, might cause students to struggle. Imprinting

knowledge into my students, creating positive relationships in my classroom, and igniting my

students' academic growth are all part of my purpose as an effective teacher.

Knowledge is very powerful in a person’s life and can be used to advance an individual

in many different areas of life. One of the most critical purposes of teaching is to instill

knowledge into my students. I must have a full understanding of the content that I am teaching to

my students. It is also imperative that I maintain several methods of teaching a lesson. When

working to instill knowledge into students, it is key to incorporate teaching styles that address the

various intelligence and learning styles that students possess. Teachers should remain flexible

and comfortable with change. I will continue to reevaluate my lessons and determine what works

best for my students, as this will change over time. Certain lesson plans and activities that work

well to teach one set of students, may not work well for another set of students in my classroom.

I will also remain conscious of  the various needs of my students.  They are being careful to

assess their needs regularly.. I will do this by evaluating my students abilities in different ways

throughout the school year. If I notice that certain students may need extra help or support I will

make sure they receive the proper help, whether that be tutoring, accommodations, or

modifications. I will work with appropriate staff to support students I notice need more

assistance.  Also, maintain constant communication with faculty, staff, and parents to ensure

each student is learning at their full potential. All students must have their academic needs met.

This means working with students diligently. If students require special needs, such as gifted and

talented, special education, and any other accommodations, I must be at the forefront making
sure their needs are taken care of. Many components must be addressed to make sure students

are gaining knowledge and have all they need to do so.

Another important aspect of teaching is the relationships that students gain while being in

school. Positive teacher-student relationships increase students' feelings of belonging and respect

in the classroom. Having a positive teacher-student relationship also makes the student more apt

to participate in classroom activities. Students have various backgrounds and home lives, some

good and some bad. It is my job as the teacher to provide my students with a classroom

environment that is respectful, positive, and loving. My classroom should have a sense of

community where my students feel safe and vital. Students should have an understanding of the

respect they must maintain for me as the teacher as well as their classmates. Students'

relationships with their peers also have an effect on their learning.  Teachers should strive to

sustain a classroom that actively incorporates and respects all cultures, backgrounds, ethnicities,

and races. By supporting positive relationships, students can learn freely and productively. It is

my responsibility as the teacher to encourage student interaction and cooperation with peers.

Inspiring personal growth in students is a significant detail of teaching. Students should

be motivated to grow and develop as a student. Teachers must encourage their students to grow,

not only academically, but also on a personal level. Working with elementary school students,

there will be instances that students will do certain things, like telling the teacher over and over

about things they can work out between each other. The teacher should work with their students

on social skills and how to communicate, to work out their differences. This is an excellent

example of helping students grow on a personal level. Personal growth initiative (PGI) is a

process in which students grow, develop, and change on a personal level. Students with a higher

PGI level tend to succeed in their academic studies on a higher level. Teachers can aid students
in gaining a higher PGI level, by supporting them, reiterating higher expectations for them, and

providing them with positive reinforcement. (Patanapu et al., 2018) Encouraging students to

participate in active learning and communicating high expectations to students, is one way that I

can facilitate personal growth in students. It is my responsibility as the teacher to convey my

expectations to my students. Students need to know from their teachers that they can succeed and

achieve in school and life. Teachers should not have assumptions about students based on any

factor. They should learn each student's personality and needs for themselves, without

prejudging or assuming anything. Teachers have the responsibility to treat every student equally

with the same respect and expectation. No matter the student's learning style or academic needs,

I must still meet them where they are academically and help them to grow.

Teachers are vital to a student's academic success and failure. Teachers can do a lot more

for student’s than teach them the required content. Knowing the significance of my position in a

child’s life, as their teacher, makes all the difference in how I teach. I, as the teacher, set the

atmosphere and expectations in my classroom.Instilling knowledge in my students, cultivating

positive relationships in my classroom, and inspiring them to grow are all part of my purpose as

an effective teacher.
