Hello KSUMB leadership team!

I hope your summer break has been somewhat enjoyable, and that you are excited to get back to
band and K-State! After our leadership camp zoom on August 14th from 9am-5pm, we are going
to have a fun leadership bonding activity that same night from 6-9pm in person on campus. This
is taking place of the challenge course leadership has done in previous years. All section leaders
and student staff are required to attend. Everyone MUST wear a mask and follow social
distancing rules to participate. We will be split into 3 groups led by each drum major and will
rotate between 3 different activities: a discussion on leadership, a marching fundamentals review,
and a scavenger hunt! Your group drum major will send you an invite to a Slack channel to
communicate during this event.

The schedule of activities is attached to this email. Please take note of what group you are in and
where you will meet at 6pm on the 14th:

We will be outside the entire time and will be walking long distances, so dress like you are going
to marching band rehearsal (with a mask)! Let us know if you have questions. I'm very excited
for this leadership team!
