● E.coli O157:H7 Linked to Organic Spinach and Spring Mix Blend
○ A total of 33 people infected with the outbreak strain were reported from 5 states. There were 13
people hospitalized. Two ill persons developed hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), a type of
kidney failure. No deaths were reported.
● Salmonella Associated with Mangoes
○ A total of 127 people infected with the outbreak strain of Salmonella Braenderup were reported
from 15 states.
● Salmonella Associated with Sprouts from Arizona Sprouter
○ a total of 19 people from three states were infected
● Salmonella Linked to Peanut Butter from Sunland Inc
○ 42 people infected with the outbreak strain of Salmonella Bredeney from 20 states: Arizona
(1), California (7), Connecticut (3), Illinois (1), Louisiana (1), Massachusetts (3), Maryland (1),
Michigan (1), Minnesota (1), Missouri (2), New Jersey (2), New Mexico (1), New York (2),
Nevada (1), North Carolina (3), Pennsylvania (2), Rhode Island (1), Texas (5), Virginia (2), West
Virginia (2).
● Salmonella Linked to Cantaloupe Grown at Chamberlain Farms
○ A total of 261 people in 24 states fell ill and caused 3 deaths.
