results:
The student creates a resume and an infographic using the appropriate
structures in English to talk about his/her strengths and weaknesses
related to his job.
The activity consists of:

Part 1: Create an Infographic

Step 1. Check the content from Modules 1 to 6 (Units 1, 2 & 3) from the
E-book.

Step 2. Go to the E-book. Module 4. Exercise 11.

Read the text “ Understanding qualities and skills employers look for”
According to the reading answer the following questions in the forum:

1. How can you know about a job?

2. What do companies or employers look for in a person?
3. What are the skills candidates should have?

Step 3. Go to the webpage the balance careers and read about the best
jobs in your field.

Here there are 2 articles https://www.thebalancecareers.com/foreign-

language-jobs-4685265, https://www.thebalancecareers.com/best-
jobs-in-higher-education-administration-4684127 but you can look for
other articles related to your field.
Step 4: After choosing and reading the article, choose 5 jobs mentioned.

Step 5: Make an infographic with the 5 jobs

including:

For each job include:

➢ Name of the Position
➢ Description of the job
➢ Salary
➢ Requirements
➢ Picture
➢ Link from the article chosen

Check this example:

Step 6: Publish your infographic directly in the forum (Do not attach
files).

Here you have 2 webpages you can use if you want:

https://piktochart.com/formats/infographics/ or
https://www.canva.com/

Part 2: Create your resume

Step 1: Each student creates a resume or curriculum vitae using a web

application like https://resume.io/, https://zety.com/.

NOTE: As for printing your resume at most of these

webpages you have to pay. I recommend you to finish
your resume and take a screenshot of it.

Step 2: Upload the screenshot of your resume in the forum.

Step 3: Check your classmates’ infographic and resume and make 2
comments about their work. Include information that needs to be taken
into account and point out mistakes. A comment is not to write a
