FLAME University is the pioneer of liberal education in India. The University’s main

FLAME SCHOOL OF BUSINESS


FLAME School of Business is rooted in liberal education. The school offers undergraduate
and postgraduate programs that are tailored for the ever evolving, constantly changing
globalized business environment of today. FLAME University recognized the need for
professional managers who are not only adept at their chosen profession but are also
socially conscious, environmentally aware and globally immersed. The education
imparted at FLAME School of Business not only provides deep domain knowledge of
management, but also covers various domains of social sciences, humanities, foreign
languages and �ine & performing arts for a well-rounded and holistic development of the
students. Students are trained as individual leaders as well as team players through
investment and entrepreneurship labs, simulations, projects, internship, mandatory
sports, besides the discussion based class sessions. They are trained to be innovative and
creative. FLAME School of Business consists of the following departments: Finance,
Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations and Economics.

Human capital has always been a critical resource for organizations worldwide.
Organizations which enjoy sustained competitive advantage invest in and develop critical
skills of their human resources which make them extremely valuable, rare, inimitable and
non-substitutable. Attracting, retaining and nurturing talent therefore is a critical activity
for organizations striving to stay ahead of competition. As we march ahead in the 21st
century, HR managers are faced with novel challenges of managing a highly creative, risk
taking, new-experience-seeking and mobile workforce.
It has become very important for the organizations to understand and ful �il the changing
expectations of employees while at the same time managing the highly dynamic
competitive environment. Identifying the need for in-depth deliberation on this scenario,
the theme for the HR Conclave at FLAME University was identi �ied as:

“Nurturing Human Capital in 21st Century Organizations - Prospects and


Challenges”

The HR Conclave will be a platform to share ideas and learn from the experience of industry
professionals. The Conclave will contribute towards the development of new knowledge in
the �ield of HR by bringing together academia and the industry. It will enable development
of a new thought process for evolution of HR practices along with the changing HR scenario.

Top HR executives from reputed organizations including Kirloskar group, Bajaj Allianz,
BSE, Piaggio India, Abu Dhabi Bank, Mahindra group, Housing.com, Maersk, Suzlon etc.
will contribute as expert speakers and panelists in the Conclave.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND


HR Conclave 2015 is open to HR professionals, management students and faculty from
business schools. This conclave will be an opportunity to learn from some of the leading
HR professionals of the country, exchange ideas and to gain new insights. We cordially
invite you to be a part of this event.

THE PROGRAM
The Conclave will be held on November 28, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at FLAME
University campus, Pune. The programme includes expert talks and a panel discussion by
top HR executives from the industry.

There is no registration fee for the event. The participants are required to send their
