Re: Executive Order for the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MEQC)

Note: All Private/Public Markets and Talipapa’s must modify their market operations to
maintain the highest level of safety.

1. To specifically tag private and public markets, talipapa’s as Essential Business.

2. Market Supervisor’s at the different public markets must prepare a market layout of
stallholders and products printed in tarpaulin and to be place/located at the entrance and other
conspicuous place easily seen by the buying public.
3. COVID-19 Fact and Info Sheet should be prepared, provided and disseminated.
4. Name of all Market Employees, Stallholders, Actual Occupants, Helpers, Delivery Workers
and Drivers must be recorded everyday and the records maintained for tracing purposes.
5. Information/Personal Data Sheets (PDS) of all Essential Market Personnel’s must be properly
recorded.
6. Progress to the Market will be mapped in one direction. All market attendees/ the buying
public will be required to enter through a specific entrance and will leave at the designated exit
there will be no doubling back.
7. Buyers must not touch or handle products. Customers will need to request items that they
will buy/purchase and the stallholder/vendor will pack the requested/purchased products.
8. To create a space between the stallholder and the buying public/customers , consider
flexiglass barriers or thick see-through plastic sheets to keep the stallholder away from
customers at all times.
9. Stallholders shall be encouraged to have one person handle the money and another to
handle then product. If it cannot be avoided, Stallholders handling money should not touch
food products until they have washed their hands.
10. If possible Stallholders can and should pre package or pre bag products to reduce product
handling.
11. Stallholders must clean and sanitize their supplies and equipments regularly.
12. Visual cues must be provided.
