Introduction

Stress has been called “The invisible”. It is a disease that may affect you, your
organization, and any of the people in it, so you cannot afford to ignore it.

EVOLUATION OF STRESS :
The Garden of Eden began as a tranquil stress environment. However when
Adam was given the tantalizing chance to eat the forbidden fruit, he was trust
into mankind’s first stressful situation. Adam was offered a choice and, as we
know, decision-making is the breeding ground for conflict, frustration and
distress.

DEFINITION :
Stress in individual is defined as any interference that disturbs person’
healthy mental and physical well-being. It occurs when the body is required to
perform beyond its normal range of capabilities.
Stress is the way that you react physically, mentally & emotionally to various
conditions, changes & demands in your life.

Importance significance of the study


1) Stress is something that everyone experinces, so learning how to cope with
its effects is something that everyone needs to master for their own
physical and psychological well-being.
2) Those who don’t learn and use appropriate stress-management tecniques
can experience a variety of negative effects, including physical illness,
psychological illness, damaged personal relationships, poor productivity &
more.
3) Stress is necessary in order to survive, for development & growth. Stress
also help us to achieve peak performance when required it is manageable.
4) Due to stress people walks of life suffer from one way to another. Stress
make you weak if you do not take care of yourself you can get sick which
can lead to more problems down the road.
5) When stress becomes excessive it can be very damaging. It can harm
health, happiness, work performance, team spirit & co-operation,
relationships & personal development.
6) It is important to recognise & address the underlying causes of stress, or
else the experience of stress will never go away .

RATIONALE
1) Eliminating stress at work as an organization isn’t feasible, but that
dosen’t mean that your company shouldn’t be inverted is stress management.

decrease.

A sample of 150 respondent was taken using random sampling. The researcher
contacted the executive personally and brief summary of the nature of the study
and details in the questionnaire were narrated to them.

The present study had been undertaken for period of 6 weeks, in which it had
divided into three stages as such. Stage II is of research problem & collection the
literature of the topic chosen. Stage II is of analysis & interpretations by using
different statistical tools, findings and recommendations.
