Which Law and Justice Question is your topic answering?

 We shall discuss the concept of Juvenile Delinquency with reference to four theories
(i.e. Strain, Differential, Labeling and Male phenomenon), criminal behaviour of
Juvenile and International Instrument to know about the reasons why a delinquent
juvenile is treated differently from an adult, even in the cases where the offence
committed are similar in nature.
 Further, the researchers will examine the question of culpability of children
committing heinous crimes and the status of life imprisonment or death penalty
awarded to juveniles for the heinous crimes committed, in countries like USA, UK
and Africa with special reference of Indian Juvenile Justice System regarding the
treatment of juvenile committing heinous crimes and critically analyses the
differences in sentencing options in different countries like USA, UK, Africa and
India. Also, reviews the practice of the death penalty in the international prospective.
 We intend to further discuss the effect of globalization on Juvenile Delinquency as
well as on common elements and responses to the serious offences committed by the
children within justice systems across the countries like USA, UK, Africa and India.
Highlighting the positive and negative impact of the approaches and practices used.

How does it converge or what changes does it bring?

 Analysing international declarations and how they gave a fillip to the nations to enact
laws in tune with some basic principles enshrined. Answering how far they have
succeeded or failed in implementation of legislations, highlighting the lack of full
implementation and the need to improve upon the deficiencies noticed with
suggestions. Also, conclusively addressing arguments on death penalty to juvenile in
cases involving heinous crimes.

 Further, approaching to evaluate the potency of the counter claim which proposes that
the existing law be better implemented, and thereby examines the necessity for the
introduction of a new approaches governing juvenile policy in India
