CHOOSE AMONG THE 3 ACTIVITIES GIVEN. PERFORM OR DO IT AT HOME.
DISCUSS YOUR EXPERIENCE OR GIVE FEEDBACK IN RELATION TO OUR TOPIC ON ASEPSIS. ACTIVITY 1: Germ Transmission Use a spray bottle filled with clean water. Spray water on your hands. Assume that the water on your hands represents germs that come out in your mouths when you cough and sneeze. Now, you touch an object (i.e. table or chair, etc.). Think what happened to the object that you touched (it became wet/damp). Discuss what might happen if one of your family member, friends and other people touches the object while it is wet. In life our health the most important to taken care for us to be healthy, strong and safe from any sickness. In this activity I choose is a way to understand how germs can transfer to one another especially to our love ones. Everything that have dirt like we touch, wear and eat can have germ because of microorganism. Like what I did coughing or sneezing and touching the table or anything and the table or that thing becomes wet because of your saliva that you use your hand to cover and then your sister touch it accidentally while it’s wet. It might happens that you transmitted a germs to your sister that may cause infection to her health. Also it can also transmitted with other members of the family if this will not be sanitize the things and hands with any aseptic techniques. Knowing that asepsis is a freedom from disease causing microorganism. In relation to our topic asepsis we need to disinfect what we use or what we do like do hand washing after going to the CRY, before eating and also put alcohol helps to kill microorganisms. And do the proper hygiene as well.
