    CHAPTER - INTRODUCTION

    1. Explain with examples, the applicable rules of interpretation for various provisions in
    the Evidence Act 1950?

    2. Are the rules of evidence the same for criminal and civil cases?

    3. Discuss the exclusionary rules of the four great canons of evidence.

    4. Briefly discuss the concept of relevancy, admissibility and weight of evidence.

    5. Can the accused person be convicted if the case of the prosecution is wholly or
    substantially based on circumstantial evidence?
