    There were three basic sentence structures used to describe changes in data: 1) There was/were + adjective + noun + prepositional phrase, 2) Subject + witnessed/saw + adjective + noun + prepositional phrase, 3) Subject + verb + adverbially. Verbs and nouns were provided to describe various types of changes in data, including things going up (increase, rise, grow), down (decrease, fall, decline), or remaining the same (level off, stabilize, remain constant). Positioning words were also included to discuss things peaking, reaching highs or lows, or standing at a certain level.
