Themes Stories
Hello Families,
This week we are focusing on "How do people
make clothes"? We will practice pretend sewing, The Girl Who Wore Too Much
designing clothing, and mixing colors. I am
sending home a body so you can decorate as a Something From Nothing
family with your cultures design, flag colors, or
anything that represents your family. Please have Abuela's Weave
fun with the activity, discuss what each thing
means, and how your country may do their Vocabulary: sketch, design, stitch, sewing
clothes if different from here.

Activities
This week we will be designing our outfits in class according to what they like to wear to school. We
are also sending a body to design at home with your cultures influence.

Reminders
Please write your child's name on their sweaters, it helps to quickly locate whose
