Make-up
Seeing my own face reflected in the camera
by Grace Ogunsanya
Each day seeing everyone every day
Make-up something people use
Every day. Not seeing them. Seeing them from a distance.
Everything is behind the screen, I'm close, I'm far.
almost everyday
People make me think we are together on a screen, but I disagree. The made up look for some is the

I think some people feel good on a camera screen But for me it make me shows
and comfortable, but I disagree. how I feel
I disagree. It inspires me
I think there’s more we can learn when actually together, I agree. To go all out with the colors
I agree. Not just doing a natural look
But that’s just not how things work in the end. But to show how I feel and show

KEMANIS CREATIONS
By Kemani Thompson
I like to draw. I do many more hobbies but I chose this out of basketbal l
video games because I wanted to share what I draw and why I draw. I
draw because when there is nothing to watch on YouTube or I can' t play
video games because i t is a school day, I wi l l go on Pintrest and look up
cool drawings, grab a paper and draw the drawing by looking at i t and
drawing. I keep doing that unti l I finish! That's what I did for this drawing
of Lebron James.
Read about this 3rd grade entrepreneur
My name is Mylah and I am in third grade. I
love to bake! I used to bake with my aunt all the
time. We would bake muffins, cookies, banana
bread and try other recipes. I started baking
on my own because I finally remembered the
recipes in my head. When my aunt could not
bake with me, I would bake on my own. My bana-
na bread was so good that my grandma would
bring it to work and share with her co-workers.
They started to offer to buy my banana bread!
Everyone who tried my banana bread wanted
to buy more of my banana bread.
I started to get creative and add chocolate
chips, nuts and cream cheese filling. After I
started to get a lot of orders I decided to give
my business a name. I came up with Mylah’s Ba-
nana. My mom started an Instagram page for
me and got me labels that said Mylah’s Banana.
This helps me to promote my business and get
lots of orders. One of my customers got me
some business cards. By giving out my business
cards and sticking the labels on my banana
bread this gives me more customers. I also put
all the things I bake on my Instagram page so
people can see what I can make and place or-
ders. My mom, aunt and grandma do a lot of de-
liveries for me. Now some weeks I bake be-
tween 10 to 15 loaves of banana bread. That’s a
lot! My sisters always help me with orders and
at the end of the week I pay them. My newest
cake is the pumpkin spice bread. This is only for
the fall season.
Sometimes it's a lot and I do get tired because
I bake after I am done with my classes, but I
really love baking. If you haven't tried my bana-
na bread yet please follow me on instagram
@mylah_banana check my page out and then put
your orders in.
