(ex. From destructive or constructive life experiences or from vices addiction to positive
involvement to community.
2. Allow your interviewee to narrate his/her personal experience using the guide
questions:
a. Can you tell me your basic information?
I am Jb Moona Princess C. Queroyla. 18 years of age, Female. I am from Blanco,
Balingasag, Misamis Oriental but currently here at Nazareth, Cagayan de Oro City. I am
a 1st year student taking up BS in Pharmacy at Liceo de Cagayan de University.
b. What was your story before of unbelief?
I personally don’t believe in miracles before but I still wish it to happen. More like, if it
will happen then that will be great but if not, then things will still be as is. It was difficult
for me to believe something that I, myself, never experienced it. But after knowing and
seeing that miracle truly does exist, a big part of me really changed. My point of view,
my beliefs, my values and even my way of life suddenly became more meaningful for
me that every action should be put into consideration.
c. What made you realize to change for the better?
I realize that God placed us in this specific place on earth because we have a purpose.
We are not living for ourselves, but actually for others. But in order to do that, we need
to pick up our selves first and be better, for us to help other people because a broken
person can never lift someone who is also fragile. They will both break more. I have
come to realize that a lot of people are suffering more than I am. I have an amazing life
and that deserves to be lived meaningfully and happily.
d. What were the difficulties you encountered in trying to change life for a better?
The difficulties I encountered in trying to change my life for the better were the
temptations who keep pulling me back to my old self. Doing something unrighteous is
always easy, most especially, if its favors you as a human being but if we compare it to
God’s teachings, bad will always be bad.
e. How were you able to overcome those difficulties?
I was able to overcome those difficulties through strengthening my foundation. I keep
reminding myself why I wanted to change and what this will lead me. Doing right may
feel like a hindrance or limitations at first in your actions, but as you get used to it, you
will realize the root why it was said as something unfavorable to the eyes of God. Also, I
always keep praying to God on letting me see the goodness in everything. When I am
about to get mad, I want to see something that will keep myself at peace and think
straight. Knowing God is always by your side will make you overcome any difficulties
you are currently facing.
f. What were the liberating realities you experienced in trying to live an authentic faith?
The liberating realities I experienced in trying to live an authentic faith is that not all
people can accept your beliefs. Not all people can come to understand your sentiments
and values in life. A lot of people are living for their earthly desires ignoring their spiritual
awareness. Some are close-minded and doesn’t want any change at all in their life.
They want to live for their selves and what’s right for them should be also right for others
which is unacceptable.

g. Who were the significant instrument used by God for your transformation?
My family was always there for me in my ups and downs. They were there beside me to
keep reminding me that God is always with me and goodness will always bring victory
to those who follows it. They became my teacher. They guided me all throughout my life
and will always leave a big part of influence in my spiritual transformation.
